Khazali inscriptions

Jabal Khazali divides the Siq Pass, and there are inscriptions dating back to the Nabatean and Thamud periods. Some of the writings are between 2,000 and 4,000 years old.

Посещение каньона Джебель Хазали входит в программу джип-тура по Вади Рам. Эта узкая и тенистая расщелина в скале имеет наскальные изображения, которые оставили древние набатейцы. Передвигаться по ущелью довольно трудно, оно узкое и постепенно еще сужается, сверху с горы просачивается вода, которая образует лужи. Вокруг толпы людей (апрель 2019 года), которые движутся навстречу друг другу. Из-за этой толчеи очень сложно сосредоточиться на изучении древних надписей и тем более их сфотографировать.

Świetne miejsce z możliwością zobaczenia bardzo starych malunków , napisów i inskrypcji. Zdecydowanie warto zwłaszcza ze sam kanion tez jest bardzo malowniczy. polecam !!!

Very nice for a 5 minute stop to take a look at the old carvings on the wall. You may miss them if you're not looking carefully.

Super quick pop off to see some old inscriptions. Although a lot of people have taken it upon themselves to do their own too which sucks :/

Es ist mittlerweile kaum noch zuzuordnen, was wirklich altertümlich ist und was (unkontrolliert) hinzu gekritzelt wurde, als sich ein Tourist unbeobachtet fühlte.

Die Inschriften liegen im Canyon an leicht erhöhten Stellen.

The idea that someone did it so many years back is mind blowing, but don't expect Da Vinci or Picasso... although... maybe a little bit Picasso. At the age of 8 I'd painted better and I have literally 0 talent; thus it will impress you only if you look at it from the perspective of time. Otherwise, easily skippable. Maybe you can invest this time in hiking around. I was much more interested in exploring the canyon further but it was flooded at the time of my visit :(
