Spending an afternoon with the talented and kind women at the Disi Women Cooperative was one of the best experiences I had in Jordan (and I had so many great experiences)! During our visit, we painted pottery, enjoyed a delicious homemade meal (maqluba) and were given henna tattoos. I'm forever endeared to these women, who embody the warmth, innovation and hospitality for which Jordan is famous.
