Arabian Nights Bedouin Camp

We really liked our stay with the guys from Arabian nights.

It’s one of the smaller camps and therefore much more personal.

The quality of the tour really depends upon your guide and his mood.

If I’d come back we’d choose this camp again

We had the best time with Arabian Nights camp in Wadi Rum it was definitely the best part of our trip!!! They are amazing hosts and really treat you like family.

I cannot stress this enough, what an incredible experience! The family that run the camp are beyond lovely. They were extremely welcoming and inclusive. They have created a beautiful environment for people to come and lose themselves in the desert. Wadi rum is incredible and the lads bring you to all the key spots and are well up for having a laugh. We stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed two weeks! Beautiful place. The beds were extremely comfortable, the views were jaw-dropping and the food was absolutely delicious! They use traditional Bedouin cooking styles and it creates food you literally cannot taste anywhere else. Highly, highly recommend!

Best time we had in Jordan. We spent 2 days and 2 nights in the luxury tent. You'll have the impression to be alone in the middle of nowhere with this unbelievable view. The tent is very beautiful and traditionally decorated with fine taste. It''s also very modern with tiles on the floor and beautiful design bathroom. Definitely worth this upgrade.
Shakar and his team are amazing, very friendly, welcoming and always doing their best for you. You'll have real holiday there, you need to think to nothing. Food is perfect, tasty, excursion in the desert beautiful.
Was my birthday and they even though to prepare a cake. How cute is that?
Sightseeing experience of course but social experience too. Speaking and understanding their habits in the desert is so interesting. They want to share everything with you. Thanks again Arabian Nights for this time we had together.

Amazing camp! Really good food - they do the zarb every night. The breakfast was also delicious and a great start to the day. They have tasty Bedouin tea on tap (sweet and not sweet both) plus hot and cold water and sesame sticks. Amazing.
The location is really beautiful and fun.
I love that they have chessboards and the staff is so friendly. The main gathering tent is very cozy and welcoming.
Daniel was a really amazing tour guide and just a really good person. We connected with him a lot.

We stayed at the camp in February, in the evenings it gets cold outside which I actually very much liked. Also there is a much smaller density of tourists around so you get to interact more with the locals.

About the camp, we loved it all. Booking and arrangement, welcoming, stay, food, people, everything top of the line. I also got to interact with the other similar camps during the stay and I could clearly see how Shakir's camp has clear advantages in offering an authentic experience. In one of the evenings I had a long discussion with Shakir on the fireside, he is a very gentle and intelligent man. Our tour guide Ibrahim was an amazing person, brother, much love and respect to you! We spent great time together, I would like to come back as soon as I have a chance. Unfortunately, I have not had time to put it all together but I made a lot of videos from the stay and I will be share on Youtube soon.

We had a wonderful 2 day and 2 night excursion in Wadi Rum. Ibrahim was our tour guide, we were able to visit the impressive Burdah Arch, which I only recommend if you are comfortable climbing and scrambling, but it was the highlight of our tour. We enjoyed Wadi Rum far more than Petra, so be sure to make time to see the desert. I would recommend doing some of the off the beaten path excursions in the desert though, and ride camels, they were very friendly!
Great food, lots of options. If you would like your own bathroom, I recommend paying for the upgrade. If not, then the shared bathrooms are great too! Wonderful experience 5*

We really enjoyed our stay with Arabian Nights Camp! The communication was excellent as well as the staff who was very kind and helpful. We had a great time on jeep tours in white and red desert, riding camels and meeting the Bedouins. The dinner was delicious as we could taste different local dishes. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely amazing. The guide, the stay and the food was amazing. I truly recommend this experience if you want to appreciate the beauty of the nature. I would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved this camp! We got the basic tent; just a bed and some nightstands to make you feel at home! The bedouin style tent with the thick blankets and a window to stargaze at night is all you can ask for. They served us tea before doing the zarb (bedouin-cooked dinner) which was delicious, followed by some music and great conversation to top off a wonderful day in the desert. Also, breakfast was very nice. Toilets were clean, modern and the hot water shower worked perfectly. I would 100% recommend!

We had an amazing time staying at the Arabian Nights Camp! The staff was friendly and always tried to help and answered all our questions about Wadi Rum as well as the lifestyle of the locals. The camp has nice tents and suitable amenities considering you're in the middle of the desert. We would definitely recommend this camp.

My wife and I absolutely LOVED our experience with Arabian Nights in the Wadi Rum. The one day experience was perfect! You can expect to drive around the desert, visit all of the popular sights, ride camels, drink plenty of tea and enjoy some incredible food all from the comfort of your own private tent. It’s a must when visiting Jordan!

We had a wonderful stay at Arabian Nights. We stayed in the luxory tent for 3 nights and had 2 full days in Wadi Rum. We loved seeing both the red and the white desert as they were quite different. Unfortunately due to weather conditions our planned hot air balloon trip could not go, but the views from the high viewing points were also wonderful. We changed the camel ride in our package for a beautiful hike and I did not regret this choice! The common area and the luxory tent was nicely decorated and spacious.

Wonderful place, my mum and I had the best time thanks to these guys, they are super well organised, they take care of everything for you, really hospitable, helpful and friendly. The place itself is amazing, well located. The luxury tents are incredible, you must stay at least one night in one of these you will not regret it. It’s very clean and very well kept, tastefully decorated. We loved the main tent with the mountains view where you have the meals and where you can relax during the day. The camp fire at night is a great opportunity to unwind, star gaze and socialise. The tours are also great fun, the views are just breathtakingly beautiful. They know the whole place like no one, we loved our guide Fahad, he stayed with us the whole time and was the best of the best! We spent one night sleeping under the stars, what an unforgettable experience, you must do it it’s just insane. The manager of the place is very kind and welcoming, he and his team will go out of their way to make it the best experience for you. The feel of walking back to my tent from the camp fire in the dead of night, surrounded by the immensity of the moonlit desert and the valley that lies ahead is a memory that will stay with me forever.
Everything was perfect and more, I would go back in a heartbeat. If you stop in Wadi Rum you MUST visit these guys they’ll make your stay a dream.

We had a wonderful time at Arabian Nights! Wadi Rum is incredible. We stayed two nights and did the compact Wadi Rum experience package. It was a day full of exploring, amazing views, a camel ride, and an incredible sunset. The food was delicious at the camp and everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend!

We spent one night at this camp and really enjoyed our stay! The people were very attentive and friendly. We did the jeep tour and the camel ride, which were both very well organised. It’s a very nice way to discover Wadi Rum in all her beauty. I would 100% recommend this camp!

My friends and I stayed for one night at the Arabian Nights Bedouin Camp. It was a fantastic experience. Wadi Rum is so beautiful and the people are very kind and funny. We felt very at home thanks to our lovely guide. He showed us the most beautiful places in the desert. In the evening, we ate delicious bedouin food made in the camp. Afterwards, we enjoyed a bonfire under the stars and played Uno with our guide. Further, the tents were really comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bedouin Camp Arabian Nights. They welcomed us with a cup of thee. Then Souliman brought us to the camp to drop our bags. After that was done, the jeeptour began and he took us to many beautiful and amazing places. The people were very kind and interested. The food was delicious! In the evening, we sat by a fire and witnessed the most beautiful stars I've ever seen.

I really recommend this place for a full and wonderful experience of Wadi Rum.

I enjoyed everything about my stay at Arabian Nights at Wadi Rum desert (or, on Mars?).

We arrived one hour earlier than the scheduled time and the host was helpful and facilitated our earlier transfer from Wadi Rum Resthouse to the accommodation.

We spent two nights in the Deluxe Tent which I highly recommend. It has a gorgeous view of the desert, has its own bathroom, a private patio with two comfortable chairs to admire the starts at night. It feels like luxury in the desert.

Breakfast and dinner were exceptional, not a great variety but everything homemade and cooked nicely. We are vegan and were impressed with how tasty and healthy everything tasted! I recommend the breakfast and dinner at Arabian Nights for vegans.

Last but not least, we did a full day 4 x 4 tour which we enjoyed even though it would have been nice if our guide Zizu had explained more about what we were seeing or had given us information about the local Beduins and their culture. The activity does not involve standing in the car all day long as the title (full day 4x4 tour) may suggest. We hiked, walked, explored, had an amazing lunch cooked by our guide in a cave.

In summary, I recommend spending at least two nights at Arabian Nights as we did and were very pleased. For us vegans, the breakfast and dinner the host offered were excellent. The day activity organised by the host enhanced our experience.

We loved our stay at Arabian Nights. We spent three nights at the camp and thoroughly enjoyed doing half day hiking tours and just relaxing at our tent the rest of the day. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the tent was very clean and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone considering going to Wadi Rum.
