Went to Jmax for a perm and treat. Had a wonderful experience very professional, my hair felt and looked great. Had minimal to no burns which is not usually the case. Also was informed on my hair issues and given a plan of action which was refreshing for me as its something I have needed a solution for for awhile and hadn't gotten anywhere with.

You can always expect the BEST quality. I get compliments on my hair and nails all the time. The main nail tech, Kerece, is so ingenious and neat. The owner, Wayne, ensures that the best quality products for your hair is used. The customer service is absolutely great. I’ve been going for many years and I’ve definitely found my home!

Although, this place is not for the faint of heart when it comes to spending money, if you do spend, it will be worth every penny. I have never had my hair so bouncy and so shiny. I would go back again and again!

The plaza is not crowded so parking is not an issue and this is a great place to get your hair done at 7:00am in the mornings before the rush of the day!

Wayne has been styling my hair for years. He does all my relaxers cuts and color and I thrilled with the service! Very central location, with great parking and his team is very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Customer service was exceptional. Wayne and his staff members are very professional and friendly. The salon is very clean and accommodating. My hair is processed but I have a lot of new growth and it is very thick. I was impressed with my hair afterwards, I got a wash, blow out and trim. My hair has never felt and look this good. Definitely recommend J’max.

Wayne is AMAZING! The team is fun and friendly and I leave with Oprah hair every time I let them have their way. Wayne is super committed to the latest in hair care and technology and always uses the best quality products on the market.
Even though they are open on Sundays I still wish they were open later in the week. But a side from that one wrinkle they provide great hair care at great prices.

I've been going to Wayne for 22 years now and that's for a good reason: He's the best colourist in Jamaica! He also understands hair on a level that you'll rarely find anywhere these days. He's already the best at what he does but he continues to improve his knowledge and skills because that's who he is - an excellent person who believes in doing his job excellently. You will never be sorry you had your hair done by Wayne!
