Stopped by roots during my time in Jamaica and by far the best place in portland. the atmosphere, people, and most of all food! Staff was great and helped me decide what to order. Everything was great

Stopped at Roots to grab a quick lunch while in Port Antonio. Parking was slightly tricky but everything else after was amazing. I ordered the roast fish and it was fabulous!!!! Our server was amazing, the ambiance decent so I would definitely head back if I'm in Port Antonio.

The food is amazing, the vibes are wonderful, the staff is quick and efficient, I will definitely be coming back again and bringing more people!!

We found the restaurant by chance. Nice location with some parking available. Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Service was great and Fitzroy our server was prompt to anything we needed plus had a wonderful and friendly personality.

I loves the vibes and music! I was singing along to almost every song! Mariah Carey, Boyz 2 Men, Celine Dion, Toni Braxton I could go on and on!!! We love the food great prices especially when you live in Kingston!!

Had the best meal I've had in Jamaica here! Get the Seafood Boil with a friend or two and you'll have a good time.

This place is a lovely dining or lounge area for friends and family. The environment is very welcoming and relaxing.. Our server displayed great service. She was attentive to our needs and readily accommodated special request as one of our friends has very bad food allergies. (She enjoyed the experience and plans to return soon). This is my second visit; the first was take away and this was dine in. The food was tasty. I especially enjoyed the curry goat.

Had the Oxtails and it was yummy. Rum punch was kicking and good service. Thursday night DJ playing big tunes and you can catch a vibe. My food came out so fast too.

Being a Kingstonian, I find this spot great for a little getaway. Kudos to the chef(s) everytime.

Let me start by saying exceptional service, food and workers. My girlfriend and I are on a little vacation and decided to visit and we were not disappointed at all. The service offered is 100% better than man restaurant in Kingston and surrounding areas. The moment we entered the complex we were greeted and seated. Wait time for food was very fast maybe because we came before the rush but wen my girlfriend and I did some comparison to restaurants we visited in Kingston wen it wasn't so busy we still did endure a bit of a waiting. Now to the food😊, I won't over exaggerate but coming from two chefs the food was amazing, better than what we expected to be honest. The menu prices aren't bad either compare to the quantity. Big to those chefs in the kitchen they did a wonderful job

I loved roots21 the parrot escovitch was well seasoned and full of spice. The Goat taste home made cooked to perfection. The vibe was cute the hostess was sweet and so helpful. Definitely a good place for date night. Both myself and my husband enjoyed the vibe and food! 😉

Customer friendly environment, great ambiance, food is 11/10. 1 of my fav spot in Portland. Must visit.

We had a wonderful and super delicious dinner here! The service was very attended and the cocktails are truly tasty! We had saltfish fritters as starter and loved them & both Pasta Alfredo wich was amazing! Definitely recommend visiting this place

First time visiting after finding them via IG, tue good is top tier. Dinner here really made our weekend. When you talk about authentic Jamaican food, this was a hit.

The atmosphere was wonderful. There's a beautiful view. The food is delicious and the service from the waitress was great! Definitely a Jamaican destination! I had a lovely dinner there with family.

Delicious food! Excellent service, Lisa had all the recommendations and took real good care of us. Come here for a real nice meal!

Service was excellent, we ended up with a waiter who goes by the name of Johet. He had good communication skills and understanding and patience and the food was exquisite 💯 I will be attending again
