Sharkies Seafood Restaurant

We visited on a Wednesday evening. It was busy and a bit crowded, but the hostess was welcoming and kept us informed during wait time. We were seated less than 10 minutes of waiting. We ordered fish ( brown stewed & escovitch) which had a much longer wait time because they were done to order.

Drinks were great, we could actually taste the alcohol. Food was well seasoned and delicious. Serving size was great as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and we highly recommend this spot.

We visited Sharkies 3 times during our one week visit to Runaway Bay because it’s so good! 😊

There’s live music/DJ and a bonfire on Friday nights, and sports playing on the TV at all times 🤩
There’s plenty of parking and also vegetarian options available on the menu.
Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in town!

While I rarely write food reviews, I must commend this restaurant! Thanks to Chef Patrick for his exceptional gluten-free cooking, attentiveness to my allergies, and prompt service. Special thanks to Nene for seating assistance and Mice for welcoming smiles upon early arrival 10 minutes before opening. Troy, the bartender, crafted an outstanding rum punch. The overall experience was fantastic—highly recommend a visit to this location!

After having a really bad day, I headed out to find food. I was visiting Jamaica, so I wanted to have a great time. My best friend and I discovered Sharkies, and it was the best thing that happened to us. the food was great. Service and staff were awesome. The vibe was good. Everything was top tier. This is my new favorite spot. I will be going there on every visit to Jamaica!

Sharkies ambience was great & the beach view is beautiful. However, the service needs improvement, the food took a while to come but nevertheless it was good. Shrimp Alfredo was good, the fish plate wasn’t too bad, the wings were pretty good. I give sharkies a 7/10!

Oh yes, Sharkies is the best, i met with my girl friend and her daughter, the food was great, service great and the atmosphere, it was during the week, so was not over crowded, just splended, the beach is free! I would most definately go back there to dine.

A great place to dine outside of the resort , there was friendly dogs everywhere , everything was colorfully painted , service was good didn't take long for our food to arrive , there was a great atmosphere here .

First time being here. It’s a great place to have a wonderful meal. Also has a great deejay. Enjoy

I always wanted to go to Sharkies and I finally got to go on my way back from Lucea for my birthday weekend last Saturday December 9. I had calamari which was is one of my favorites, Escoveitched fish, and chicken pasta. The food was good to be honest. I just love a good fish meal. The fish was large and I had to bring some home couldn’t eat it all so I asked for boxes to put was was left in. I ❤ Sharkies ‼

I went from my hotel (Bahia principe) on a boat excursion, and we did a quick stop for snorkeling before getting to the restaurant. Food is delicious, but you have to be aware of the spicy dishes because they are brutally hot 🔥 🥵 the king crab 🦀 with garlic sauce is fantastic. They have a very nice small bar at the front where you can have an extra cocktail before heading back 😀 the view is spectacular, and the people are very friendly and welcoming 🙏 😀 😊

Absolutely amazing experience eating here at Sharkies! The food was perfectly cooked and the service was fast! We would definitely come back here to eat more and have more drinks.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Server (Kavaugh) was great l, food was ready within the given wait time indicated. The food was great, my tastebuds are still delight the Grill Salmon with that sauce so good I'll definitely have it again.

I don’t know what this drink is but it will knock you out (it might be Monday Night Raw) It’s the house special. Our server (Darren) was amazing!! Don’t have enough words the food was great got the steam fish, that’s a medium but the size 🤯🤯🤯. The ambience is great, music choices are clean, great environment to chill. Not to mention the beach front view…

The service was great, polite, prompt, informative about the cuisine. I do believe the portion sizes were hearty and value for money.

The rum punch really did pack a punch. I was more than satisfied. I would recommend it to everyone and I will visit the next time I got to Jamaica.

No ketch unuh nuh drop! The food is as good as it was when they opened years ago and I love it! Cocktails were amazing too!

We had an awesome time at Sharkies, amazing food and super friendly staff. Wasn’t our first visit and definitely won’t be our last.

Loved the food. The service is definitely on Jamaican time but very friendly. If you're looking for a local place to enjoy real Jamaican food, I definitely want to try it out. I had the shrimp tacos, and they were so good that all the ingredients were fresh. The peppered shrimp were very spicy, but very good, and calamari was amazing.
