La Tramontina Amalfi

Best sandwich I've ever had. Ingredients are super fresh -- they slice the prosciutto from the main ham right in front of you. A local stood in line beside me and took home fresh mozzarella with their grocery bag. So delicious and charming!

The signboard outside the shop advertising the panino bufalino piqued my interest; I walked there at 8am on a Thursday but the staff looked to still be setting up shop. Returned at about 8.30am and she was ready to take my order. Service was friendly and quick. The panino was €10 and was a huge serving with generous ingredients. My photo is half a sandwich.

Beyond amazing! A must when in Amalfi. Cannot recommend enough!

The sandwiches we had here were the best we’ve ever had, anywhere. So much so that we came for lunch 2 days in a row. The ladies working there were so lovely and helpful! True there is no menu, but they spoke great English. We just asked for their most famous sandwiches, and we were so obsessed we came back the next day. 🤣

Stopped by to get a sandwich and some meat/cheese. We chose burrata, a variety of meats, and eggplant on the sandwich. There is no set menu here - they make whatever you want from what is available! The bread was crusty on the outside and soft in the middle. We ate it on a little table outside.

We also got a ball of fresh buffalo mozzarella and some salami to go - we ate it later as a pre-dinner appetizer. The mozzarella was creamy, flavorful and had a good texture. Salami also delicious. The staff was friendly and understood English well.

Best sandwiches for 10€. With ham or vegetarian option

What a great place to get a panino, the quality of the panino that they serve are fantastic. The panino is 10€ per which is a whole lot cheaper than a lot of other items on the Amalfi coast. They will definitely see me again the next time I am in Amalfi!

We absolutely loved the buffalo mozzarella sandwich with fresh sliced prosciutto, tomato and arugula. We visited Amalfi for a day and couldn’t wait to find the perfect buffalo mozzarella dish. This was definitely it and enough for my husband and I to share. The ladies were entertaining and added to our overall experience while in Amalfi. Highly recommend!

The lady made us 2 panini's of different types and they were outstanding. Quality of the mozzarella and prosciutto was out of this world!

We arrived late on a Sunday and we were welcomed and given a plate of the most delicious mozarella, olives, sun dried tomatoes, bread and a glass of wine. Amazing-the mozarella made fresh each day was so tasty.

Excellent sandwiches with nice crusty bread. Both employees were super sweet. There are a couple of chairs to sit outside and enjoy.

Everything is fresh and tastes amazing.The bread is perfectly crusty, the mozzarella melts in your mouth and the salami compliments everything with its saltiness.

Easily the best panini I've had in all of Italy. The burrata is to die for and delivered fresh daily. Very friendly staff. Can not recommend highly enough.

Fantastic place with exquisite mozzarella, prosciutto, salami and local vegetables. Extremely nice service with a local touch. Small table if you want to eat here or probably the best is to take a way.
