Ristorante B&B LEONARDO'S

We visited Leonardos restaurant when visiting the Amalfi coast from Aug 26th-Sept 1, 2023. Our hotel was located 800 steep steps below Leronardos and out of the 7 days we were there, we ate dinner here 5 of the nights.

The restaurant is owned by a sweet family & they made us feel welcome every single time we went there with their sweet smiles. The food was delicious (or we wouldn’t be here every night LOL.) My husband and I got their “I love Agerola” pizza every time and still think about recreating at home somehow. Since they’re located in Agerola, they sit up high on the top of the mountains of Amalfi coast, and the views from up there were Incredible!!!! We initially went there bc our hotel staff suggested the place but we fell in love with their hospitality and food. Imagine climbing 800 very steep steps every night to go eat dinner here. Take my advice and visit this place at least once if you can!

Didn't stay in the hotel but nearby. Ate here twice during our stay and both times the food was great tasting, good size portions and nice wine pairing recommendations were given. Atmosphere varied. They have three different areas to eat; the main hall which is beautiful and inviting, the side hall which comes with a view but I personally found it to be lower quality than the main hall, and of course an outdoor sitting area.
It's not for nothing I made the trek up hundreds of stairs to eat here twice.

Amazing restaurant! This place has the best Italian food we tried while in Italy for a week. I highly recommend you try this place. The pizza is delicious.

We had the most incredible time here; the best meal we have had in Italy so far, and in the running for the best meal we've ever had anywhere. The food was incredible, the staff were friendly and welcoming (especially Enzo), and the view was stunning. We fully intend to go back tomorrow so we can sample more of this outstandingly delicious menu.

Ordered two pastas, one with seafood and one with pesto and burrata cheese.
Both pasta were amazing. We completely cleaned our plates with the extra breads we got for free.

For dessert, we got the lemon cake. The coating was good, but the inside of the cake felt cheap and bought from a supermarket.

Service was great and the environment is very nice. Didn’t wait at all for a table. Prices are very reasonable.

Wow! Just amazing place. We stayed in the area for almost 2 weeks and we decided to eat there almost every night! Affordable and incredible food! They made our trip even better with the service!

We were on a walking holiday and staying at nearby Hotel and the tour guide recommended we give this place a try on the days we didn't have a meal included.

Its impossible to find any negatives with this place and to be honest it was one of the best restaurants I have every been to ever.
The food was excellent and priced realistic compared to other Italian eateries in the popular resorts.

Absolutely amazing and authentic Italian restaurant. For an unbelievable price we got a full menu served with many local ingredients such as wine, tomatoes, fish and many more. We were amazed by the friendly service and the panoramic view of the Amalfi coast and will definitely be back at some time!

Found Leonardo's only 650m away, 200m up and 30min drive (or 15 mins climb). Well worth the visit. Marvellous food with generous portions - easy to share if only wanting modest size meal. Only discovered on our last day here. Wish we had stayed here instead of down on the hill nearer to Amalfi. Very genuine and warm service, not flooded with fellow tourists. Beautiful view, when not raining, Would come back again if in the area.

This is the first ever Google Review I am writing, because this place truly deserves it! We came here for dinner during our stay in San Lazzaro by complete chance, and we then kept coming back every night until the end of our stay! The food is excellent, the view is unbeatable, the prices are more than fair and the service is simply outstanding. Our server Enzo took great care of us every single time, he is an absolute gem and a master of hospitality. I couldn't recommend this place more! Grazie mille!

The best restaurant i have tried during my Amalfi trip, i have already been there 3 times.

The food is absolutely amazing, i recommend the swordfish cooked in calamari black ink and the seafood gnocchi - these 2 dishes are absolutely high level and delicious.

Coming at day time would be the best to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view from outside but the inside of the restaurant is elegant too and toilets are very clean.

The service is also very kind and one of the servers (i think he is the boss) speaks excellent English.

Prices are also very affordable for that kind of quality - besides several dishes are made with products directly from Agerola.

As you can see, i absolutely recommend going to this restaurant!

I stayed here for two nights and decided to try their restaurant , attracted by Tuna in sesame seeds!
When we opened the menu we decided to try the 4 entree recommended by chef!
Fresh fior di latte cooked in different ways was very interesting . I am not a fan of chips or french fries, neater of melanzani balls, but I tried them! Tasty but not for me!
The tuna in sesame seeds was good cooked but with not enough salt for my taste! In combination with soysauce was ok, but I don’t like combining and saucing the meat! The fettuccine were very tasty!
First of all, they have prices three times lower than in Amalfi…the view is very nice!
The village San Lazaro has a nice and chic centre with everything you need!
This place worth a visit!

The room was not with the most modern furniture but very clean and the bathroom was big , clean and with everything you needed!
The only problem ( if I can say like this), was that they advertised the room with AC, but there was no remote for AC, only the mention on the door that it costs 10€/day! However, the location is on mountain and you don’t need AC! That was a great thing for me, because I already had head pain from previous places where I was forced to use the AC!
One more thing, from the location you can go downstairs about 20 minutes to San Pietro and do the morning training heaving a beautiful panorama, if you like to stay fit during your holiday!

I went there with a group of 8, and it was fabulous. The food is the best around, and the service, the view, and the overall experience was superb.

The pasta with pesto was quite satisfying. There is delicious food and drinks, pleasant service, a beautiful view and a wonderful atmosphere.

When I become a grandfather and my grandchildren ask me to tell them an interesting story, I will tell them about Leonardo's restaurant. About a place where the food tastes like no other restaurant in the world. The view is so spectacular that it takes your breath away, and when I tell them what a wonderful person the owner, Vincenzo is, they probably won't believe it. But you don't have to believe in fairy tales, come and see for yourself. Personally, I think it's worth driving two days, 2500 km, just to have dinner. If someone thinks otherwise, it's best to go eat at McDonald's.

One of my favourite restaurants in amalfi. Gluten free pasta and deserts and Enzo made the whole experience worth coming back twice. Grazie Grazie!!!

Our favorite restaurant during our trip in Italy. We particularly loved their seafood salad, pesto & Burrata spaghetti and pizzas. We went twice. Beautiful view and good service.

The best restaurant I’ve been to in Italy. Food was delicious, amazing local wine, SPECTACULAR views from the terrace and great staff. If you are in the area, you must come here 😊
