Amazing pizza, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere… and you get to see the pizza being prepared right before your eyes!

This was on a par with the best meals I’ve ever eaten. I was moved to tears I was so happy, this only happened once before while eating a jaw dropping taco in Mexico City. No pizza has ever come close to this for me, It is perfection. I travelled to Naples for 2 days hiking and 4 days exploring pizzerias and learning how to make pizza, I accidentally stumbled across this spot as I was staying in Agerelo and it beat all the top rated Naples pizzerias. I will be back here many times in the future and feel very lucky to have eaten here.

We visited twice during our week long stay in Agerola. The place was on our radar from an initial Google search, and was later recommended by our host.
This place is a must! The pizza is exceptionally good, with a generous amounts of toppings, and at a very affordable price (starting at €4.5). If you love plenty of tomatoes on your pizza, try Praianese! It is sooo good.
The atmosphere feels very authentic, the staff are all friendly. It gets really busy, as it’s loved by both tourists and locals, so make sure you book in advance!

A great pizza restaurant. Off the beaten track but worth seeking out. I recommend booking in advance as we turned up without a booking the first time and were turned away. We didn't leave empty-handed as we were offered takeaway. It was so delicious that we booked and weren't disappointed. Delicious home made dough and pizza base and a great variety if toppings. Spotlessly clean. There is tight kerbside parking and off-road area a few meters up the road where people parked.

The best pizza I found in all Amalfi- Naples area. Don't go in Naples for best Napolitano pizza, this is the place. They were very kind to make me a half 4 formagi and half walnuts and gorgonzola, so kind of them. Very tasty and wonderful staff. I must say that here I also had the best potatoes crochete in the world. It was the best place to have a pizza in Italy, so happy to find it. Thank you all again for your hospitality. Okay, this is the best pizza I've ever had and those are very strong words. I happen to own a pizza shop and have also traveled around learning about and trying all different styles and types of pizza both in Italy and the United States. Don't sleep on the calzones, arancini or the desserts either.

The family is super friendly and will continue to speak Italian to you regardless of your ability to understand what they're saying.

This place is literally in the middle of nowhere next to nothing and about 30 minutes from the Amalfi coast but none of that matters and probably makes it that much more special.

Call ahead because the hours on here could be wrong and it's a long, windy drive from anywhere your coming from.

On our trip driving through Italy we were lucky enough to have stumbled across Pizzeria ai Galli. The photos speak for themselves. This was the best meal we had in Italy without a doubt and we have spent months travelling through different parts of Italy. The best part -- the meal was extremely cheap for the quality you get.

Stop reading this and make sure to take lunch or dinner here. You will NOT regret it. Everything is made fresh with high quality local ingredients.

Insanely great pizza restaurant! They not only know their craft, they master it.
Super prices and very nice service. You absolutely should make a reservation and have an appetizer and delicious dessert before and after the main dish. The dough is extremely fluffy and tasty. I will miss it.

The best Pizza of my life. I would return in a heartbeat. We went there twice during our week in the area, and it beat Pizza in Napoli hands down. The first thing that sets it apart is the crust. its like eating clouds. light and fluffy are not typical ways to describe pizza, but this is not typical pizza! the toppings were superb- wee went for simple - margarita and marinara they were beyond perfect. The first time we were there was a Saturday night with no reservation so we opted for take out. they were super busy yet found the time to walk with us outside and show us the way to the toilet, to discuss where we could sit on the nearby terrace, they agreed to serve the pizza's on plates even though it was take out and even brought out plastic chairs for us to sit on. the second time we could be seated in the restaurant and received the welcome of long lost cousins. The sweetest friendliest most thoughtful service, AND a great place for dine in or take away AND the most fabulous Pizza ever!
