Marina Grande

I took my mom here for dinner during our stay in Amalfi. The food was absolutely wonderful! The octopus was so tender and moist it was the best my mom has ever eaten. I had the seabass and tuna tartar, both were flavorful and delicious. Our friend had the dry aged ribeye which she'd never had before and really loved it! The atmosphere is very inviting and it was so nice to meet the owner/chef who took the time to visit with us for a little bit when our tables food came out. It rained earlier in the day but was so nice come evening they opened the awning so we could watch the sunset over the beautiful Amalfi coast. We can't wait to come back for another delicious meal!!! I also want to apologize to the chef for the guests who were at our table and only ordered desert they clearly have no tastebuds which I wasn't aware of at the time of our visit, but very quickly learned when we ordered dinner. I'd come without them next time. Thank you again for the best meal of our trip!!!

lovely and affordable beach! cheap prices for a beach club in amalfi! drinks being brought over to our loungers for us and free towels was also an added bonus! the sea was lovely and clear and not too busy on a weekday in may! €80 for 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas

My husband and I ate here while staying in Amalfi on our honeymoon, and this was quite possible the best meal we ate on the whole trip. The seafood was so fresh and simply prepared that it was delicious. The atmosphere and service were also great for a romantic dinner.

Visited this spot and opted for the chef's 8-course tasting menu. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my wife's gluten-free needs, which was much appreciated.Every dish was exceptional, with the fish varieties standing out for their uniqueness. I was also impressed with how welcoming they were to my 20-month-old son.Highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience!

Me and my girlfriend had a great lunch there. I love when I try different things and everything tastes good. The seafood (antipasto, risotto and secondo) was so fresh and good, but the truffle pasta was also phenomenal. Service was good and the guys gave us good recommendations. The portions of fried seafood and risotto were big. Stuffed pasta usually doesn’t come in big portions (mainly when coming with truffles), but this one was not small — even though it may seem small compared to the other dishes in the pic. Love the atmosphere and you can definitely get the beach vibes.

We had a delightful experience at this restaurant, where we tried two different pasta dishes that were both cooked to perfection. The quality of the food was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. What made the experience even more memorable was the stunning view of the ocean, which we could appreciate while we dined. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a table with a view, and we appreciated their effort to make our dining experience even more special. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant!

My wife and I had dinner here last night based on the Michelin guide recommendation and I'm very happy to say that the restaurant definitely was up to par to be on the guide. Everything we had was fantastic. Every course was beautifully prepared and presented. Silverware was changed between courses and the prices were fair. My only knock was that at the time of our dinner there were two very large tables who were quite loud throughout the time we were there. Obviously not the restaurant's fault so I'm not giving any negative points there. Definitely check them out!

Excellent service and very good food quality. Tuna tartare was quite generous and light tasting. Grilled octopus with peas was tasty but a small portion overall. Amalfy beer at 10 euro each was a little hopy at 5.2 Alc. Sea Bass was very good but the green beans were cold. I think that was miss qued in the kitchen. Reservations are important as this is a popular eatery. The polenta muse bouch was very plain. All in all, it was an expensive meal and good quality.

The food was amazing. It was not cheap, but if you want a good gastronomic experience it’s worth it. We’ve tried the tasting menu and it was stunning.

This was a fantastic experience. We came here as part of a wedding party, and we were thoroughly impressed. Firstly, the location is absolutely stunning as it’s right on the coastline. There is also a lovely balcony that overlooks the beach. The food in the restaurant was absolutely lovely. It was traditionally Italian, but also had other dishes such as fish and lots of delicious desserts. The service was excellent and prompt and the drinks were very good. I particularly recommend the “Amalfi sunset” cocktail and the limoncello spritz. Both of these were absolutely fantastic. The coffees are also absolutely fantastic. This place also has a wonderful vibe and I would definitely come back here.

Great restaurant. With great food, and an amazing view. Highly recommend that one goes to visit this place. Staff was friendly and we were seated quickly with our a reservation even given we were a party of 4. Next time I come to amalfi I’ll go again.

My first meal in Amalfi and it didn't disappoint. Make a reservation. Service, food and beach view were all amazing. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and they seated us immediately. I have a crustacean allergy and their menu is allergy friendly... they list all allergens in their menu by menu item so it makes ordering easy. When you are in Italy, you will probably have plenty of tiramisu... theirs is different, so definitely try it! Only warning is put on mosquito repellent. We went in June, there was a heat wave and mosquitoes were out and also dining on us. 😆

Amazing food, excellent wines we tried a selection of white and red wines recommended by the waitress, they were all amazingly good.

Very accommodating staff ensuring we had a great table with a view, even without a reservation. The food was very good, from the antipasti, through dinner, and into dessert. We enjoyed the complimentary dessert-before-dessert - a delicious little Sfogliatelle. All of the staff was very friendly and courteous. The beautiful view of the setting sun over the water and endless horizon obviously didn't hurt. All of this made the pricier menu worth it. Sometimes you just splurge a bit to take it all in.

I like the place. Service was great. You can enjoy the sea view and chose between 8 courses or al a cart. Dishes are delicious with a little extra. The wine list is supreme, a wide range of Italian and French wines.

Marina Grande beach club is amazing! We had such a great time on our first day in Amalfi, so we came back for a second day. Roberto and Fabrizio took care of us both days and they were fantastic. On the second day, they reserved us 2 chairs in front of the ocean! Wonderful drinks and quality food. We ordered Limoncello Spritz, caprese salad, and seafood pasta- all were amazing!

Came here for lunch - food was tasty and presentation was phenomenal. The atmosphere was very chill at that time we went. We also made our way to the beach.

We stayed in Amalfi Town 3 years ago for holiday and had dinner at Marina Grande - a Michelin guide restaurant - for dinner one night, and it was so good, we came back for lunch the next day. This week for our holiday, we are staying in Positano, but decided to make a day trip to Amalfi for a few reasons - one main one being to go back to Marina Grande! The service at Marina Grande is excellent - very attentive and paced well, and the view is incredible. If you want a table with a great view, I suggest calling ahead for a reservation. The restaurant takes walk-ins when not busy, but understandably prioritizes the tables with a view for the reservations. My wife and I started with the Fried Seafood Mix, with calamari and different types of shrimp and fish. This dish is listed as a second course, but is an excellent starter. I then had the linguine with clams and seafood, which was light and airy, and my wife had the spaghetti pomodoro, which had a smooth, fresh taste. We poured it all down with a local Amalfi coast bottle of rosé, which was reasonably priced at only €24. We had an excellent experience again at Marina Grande, and look forward to returning again during our next trip to the coast!
