Piazza delle Erbe

This is a very cool place to visit. Nice little shops all around with restaurants and vendors. It can get a little crowded as well. The pricing doesn't seem to be too bad either. So you can enjoy ice cream , fruit or a meal.

Good square to have coffe or wine and enjoy watching architecture around. Also you have open market with lot of souvenirs.

Piazza delle Erbe was the forum when Verona was founded during the Roman Empire, and has remained in use as the main square for commerce.

Very beautiful piazza with overpriced cafes on it. More beautiful when stands in the middle are closed , they sell some uninteresting touristic stuff and close the view and perspective. Beautiful anyway

Lovely market, with a wide range of things on offer. Christmas Market is a great visit too- although very busy!

Very busy but great atmosphere, lots of bar and resturants to choose from. Great places to sit and relax whilst watching the hustle & bustle around you. Market nice if looking for momentoes.

The oldest city square in Verona. Back in Roman times it was a vital social, economic, and political centre.

Today’s souvenir shops were predated by the small markets of fruits and vegetables giving the square its name.

The fountain in the square centre is a statue of Madonna Verona. It represents a symbolic personification of the city itself.

The heart of Verona. There was an open air market in the square at the time we visitied so we got a piece of real life experience.

Visited in early January, they had a Christmas market in which was good fun. Picked up chestnuts and mulled wine, purchased the usual tourist merch and marvelled at the buildings. Great spot at Christmas.

Lots of interesting kiosks full of kitschy tourist souvenirs and some treasures. Great place to browse and people watch.

Beautiful piazza, one of the places to Put on your " go to" list if you plan to visit Verona. Not that much People comparing to similar cities in Italy

Piazza delle Erbe it's a gorgeous square in the heart of Verona surrounded by beautiful architecture and sculptures. Around this square you can see the Palazzo Maffei Casa Museo, the Colonna di San Marco, the Fontana Madonna Verona, the Torre dei Lamberti and the Arco della Costa. There was also a market with a wide variety of souvenirs and Venetian masks.

The piazza Delle Erbe was a Place that we visited every day multiple times because it’s so well located. The bars are okay, but not amazing. Better go in some small streets for better and cheaper dishes!

There was an open air market when we went here. It was a little bit full of people, and there are a lot of stalls from souvenirs, to clothes, to streets foods. It was enjoyable.
