A must-visit-place while in Sardinia!
The ancient structures in this area are in amazing condition and the whole area is really well maintained. Visited in the summer of 2021, will for sure come back again!

The compound contains three spots... The Christian village, the nuraghe and the pozza. Each of it is worth the visit.

loved it - our tour guide, Maria Cristina was amazing. The entire site is worth seeing, and the water temple is so mysterious and fascinating. So much we don’t know about an entire civilization!
The guided tour is free with entry ticket.

It is a magical place just a few meters from the main road. The entrance is 5€ for an adult and is totally worthy. Apart from the marvelous water well which seems impossible to be built 1200 BC, there is also very impressive nuraghe village with one main tower which can be climbed up to the top. At the entrance there is also a bar with paninis and tobacco

Very interesting place to visit - well maintained. Every hour there is a guided tour, otherwise you can walk around by yourself, there are information in the important sites.
The pozzo di Santa Cristina is the jewel.

Wonderful archeological place! It is a pleasure to try to understand the history and decrypt the different life approaches which were worthwhile for the ancient citizens! Maybe there is a correlation between the water well and the ancient Egypt. You can dream band think that in this magic place! 😉

Excellent open-air museum, we could also find it open on Easter day. Very easy to get to, you can get there from 131 and it's well signaled. Staff is helpful and attentive to inform about all services. Picnic areas and ample space for relaxation are available. Guided tour also available, but I did it in Italian so I don't know about the English one. The archaeological sites of this place are incredible and perfectly maintained.

Beautiful archeological site referred to the nuragic era. Worth a visit! With the ticket you can visit 3 different sites: Christian one, the Nuragic site with a big Nuraghe in the middle and the St. Cristina's well which is breathtaking.

There is a bar, toilets (free) and parking is also free of charge.
Ticket is 5 euro per person. Duration of the whole walk will be around 1 hour, maybe 1.5 hours.

No gluten free options at the bar so be ready to make your own sandwich if you want to eat in the pic nic area.

Unique place, worth coming for its symbolic relevance.
We definitely recommend to book a guided tour to the temple, since there are plenty of insightful details one fails to catch only looking at the panels placed on site.
