Pisa International Airport

Been to Pisa International airport in December 2022, best part was no security at entrace gate..you can directly go to your check-in countrs. Airport is location near by Leaning tower of pisa, Italy

small but nice airport, in the city itself . you dont have to take any taxi to go to downtown.

To be fair, Pisa is a small airport very close to the city centre (you could actually walk there if you're staying around the station) and because it's so small, checks are usually quicker than other big airports and you don't have to walk to reach the gates!
I've always had good experiences when travelling via Pisa, I only wished there could be more international flights :)

This airport is small. But very nice. Shops with souvenirs. With food. And also you have view to planes🤩🤩🥰✈✈✈

Great airport. Clean. Efficient. Good choice of refreshments. Good large Lavazza coffee for £2.60. Duty free with local goods is great.

Small comfortable airport with ease of orientation in it, very present anti cov-19 security measures. services for the disabled and seats with USB connection and chargers for mobile devices and laptops. Very friendly staff who make themselves understood if you don't speak or language.

Very clean well organised airport. expencive food. But if your organised you can get your food before.even found a lego dispencing machine. Plenty of screens to check your flight.the staff spoke good English and we're very helpfull. Disability freindy but you need to let them know before you travel.

Fast and efficient going through passport control and hold luggage was also fast to the conveyor belt.

Small airport, no frills… just what you should expect. Security line moved very quickly. Staff was friendly.

Decent airport. VERY quick to unload our cases when we arrived. Smooth departures too. Most shops are before security although there are a few in the departures lounge. Decent coffee there too.

Transfer using PisaMover to the
central train station in Pisa is €5 each. Left luggage at the train station is about €6 per bag per day if you want to pop to see leaning Tower.

Very smooth check in,quickly through security, it's not a very big airport so I can imagine it getting tight on seats at busy times. Small duty free shop,at the time of our visit almost no cigarettes or tobacco for sale! Food as with all airports a touch expensive, but on the whole we had a good experience.

Small nice airport, I was struggling to charge my phone with usb cable.. all usb ports where broken.

It’s a decent airport. Does the job similar to other airports. It’s small and therefore limited shops etc.

Small airport, but very convenient. Very close to the city center, even reacheable by foot, in a 25 minute walk.

Departures:

Teeny Airport- took about 20 minutes through airport security and 10 minutes through border control (by the departure gates)

Was similarly speedy for arrivals.

Following passage through airport security - there are a few small to medium sized cafes selling pizza and the standards airport fare of overpriced salads and stodgy sandwiches. There is however a good coffee and San Pellegrino ---what more do you need?

There are a few places you can charge your phone in departures and some plugs -- if you scrabble around

PLF and Vaccinations were checked (unlike some other airports)

Arrivals:

There is a pissmover airport shuttle (5 euros) between the airport and the main trains station and from the train (which costs around 10 euros) it is about an 1hour and a half on to Florence.

You could also walk to the train station which would take around 20 minutes (although it is over some major roads - I would not suggest this at night)

Passport control was reasonably speedy. PLF and vaccinations checked.

Very prompt and helpful customer service for retrieving lost items at the airport.

Great little airport,,,plenty of shops just on the outskirts of the city,only a short 20mins of walking into the city centre or you could get the Pisa mover(bus)can get busy going thru security

Busy Airport but organised. Staff were all helpful especially the Ryanair bag check in staff. A few cafe bars to eat but not a lot of duty free shops for a larger airport.

Do not go through security before time, there is not much to do and eat on the other side. Airport is placed extremely conveniently, coop supermarket is 10 minutes walk
