Excellent and authentic food, fast service! The prices are very reasonable as well . The 1 litre house wine , white Frascati, is at 8 euro only ! The location is fabulous on a big square with trees, also an impressive view of the valley below from the side of the terrace a bit further . Calm as no cars cross the square. Definitely a good place for dinner. On the weekends for dinner you might need a reservation , but I was lucky to get a table like that.

Nice place to eat out with friends. The stuff was a bit busy and did not have enough glasses and cutlery, but we managed to have everything we needed when the food arrived.
They had a vegetarian dish of the day and awesome starters. Also having a dog with us was fine. I would go here again.

Definitely the best night and meal of our latest trip to Rome, Mary & her husband were the most amazingly gracious hosts. Talk about feeling as a part of the community, the way we were invited in, treated like family, and doted on... cannot be compared to any experience I've ever had in life. The food was delicious, portions were generous, flavor was outstanding. I would eat here 3 times a week if I could, and give it my highest recommendation! 1,000,000 stars if I could.

Amazing location and great food

A truly great osteria with amazing food. We enjoyed each of the items we ordered:

Tagliere con porchetta
Carciofi fritti

Pasta al pesto di asparagi con pancetta
Cacio e pepe (made my Roman wife say, 'This is the best cacio e pepe I have ever had.')

Torta di gianduia (think dark chocolate molten goodness)
Caffe
Homemade elisir gambrinus (on the house)

Bravi i cuochi! Importantly, the kitchen knows what they are doing. The service was friendly and English-speaking. Environment is cozy and we even shared a table with another couple (we joked with each other about how delicious the whole meal was!)

Sooooooo delicious! Friendly service, great food, delicious wine. Heaven!!! If I lived in Frascati I know I'd be a regular here.... like a lot of the locals who dined the same night as us.

Whenever I come there I am very satisfied with the food. It is especially nice in the summer when the tables are outside.

Fraschetta molto bella e tipica.
Abbiamo mangiato della porchetta, una carbonara, un’amatriciana, agnello fritto panato e delle polpette fritte.
Tutto squisito e personale veramente cortese che ci ha offerto anche ratafia e genziana fatte in casa!!!

Bellissima location, servizio ottimo e soprattutto cibo divino..gli schiaffoni alla frascatana indimenticabili! Il tutto ad un prezzo davvero invitante.. Due antipasti (taglieri misti abbondanti), pizza bianca cotta in forno a legna, due primi, due secondi (filetto di manzo), vino della casa e acqua a soli 89€...poco più di 20 € a testa! Amaro gentilmente offerto! Consigliatissimo!!!

Veramente una fraschetta di tutto rispetto, degna della sua nomination a 4 Ristoranti. Proprio per questo vorrei dire la mia come se fossi un Borghese qualsiasi...

🏠 "alla Location ho dato 7 perché..."
In estate ci si accomoda fuori, con una vista sulla piazza ma soprattutto sulle campagne romane veramente unici. Peccato solo per i materiali di tavoli, sedie e ombrelloni, troppo plasticosi e dall'aspetto cheap.

🍝 "al Menù ho dato 'diesci' perché..."
Ho semplicemente mangiato la miglior cacio e pepe della mia vita! Secondo me hanno "barato" mettendo anche una varietà diversa di pepe, però la consistenza della cremina, la cottura perfetta del tonnarello e l'esplosione di gusto che davano i due pepi mi hanno fatto godere morso dopo morso. Ottimi anche i taglieri, con una porchetta secondo me migliore delle fraschette di Ariccia, la focaccia bianca e anche sua maestà carbonara, cremosa il giusto e con un guanciale di qualità.

Non potevo dare di meno considerando il fatto che senza prenotazione era tutto pieno ma sono riusciti a tirare fuori un tavolo per due dal nulla. E poi i tempi di attesa tra una portata e l'altra erano molto veloci. Complimenti alla signora che gestisce tutto, molto preparata e alla mano con i clienti, si vede proprio che le piace il suo lavoro.

🧾 "al Conto ho dato 6 perché..."
Onesto con quello che abbiamo mangiato. Certo qualche portata è aumentata con il prezzo ma neanche così tanto considerando l'inflazione generale. La qualità si sente ma se devo muovere qualche critica è un menù a mio avviso limitato, mi aspettavo qualche portata in più; è vero che ci sono anche i fuori menù ma secondo me sarebbe meglio che includessero anche questi nel menù principale così da avere più scelta.

Quindi che dire, entra di diritto nelle fraschette migliori dei Castelli, e Borghese ci aveva visto lungo. Cacio e pepe che si merita anche i miei 5 punti bonus, gustandosela poi in una location immersiva con un panorama tutto romano. Inutile dire che bisogna prenotare, altrimenti si resta a bocca asciutta, il che sarebbe davvero peccato

Ottimi piatti e personale gentilissimo! Cucina romana , antipasto ricco, con prodotti di alta qualità!
