Villa Mercede

If you have the opportunity to visit the beautiful town of Frascati just outside of Rome, this is where you need to stay. The staff are all so attentive, kind and welcoming. The chef’s talent is out of this world, providing the best food we had throughout our entire trip. Amazing stay and totally recommend!

Wonderfully located in the hills, overlooking Roma. Outstanding location, walking distance to the city center as well as the train station into Rome and other destinations. Outstanding amenities, including a wonderful dining experience, Nikolai provided amazing service and detail. The front staff was always friendly and helpful, there’s a 24 hour bar/coffee/convenience store, relaxing, spa, two pools, including four indoor paddleball courts. We will always come back!

Service and accommodations were excellent. Rooms are not real big but they are fine.

We have stayed here twice, once a few months ago and the other time was 2 years ago. Friendly staff and accommodations were consistently great both times. They have a cool little cafe near the entrance of the hotel that sells pastries and coffee. The rooms were clean and comfy both times we stayed. If youre looking for somewhere in the CENTER of Rome obviously this is not your best choice, however if you have a rental car and would like to avoid the LTZs this is a good spot! Would recommend.

I just spent three days at the Villa Mercede hotel having organised a workshop for 30 people with the hotel. The staff at the hotel were positive and responsive from the start and once we arrived onsite, the facilities and hosting met and exceeded all of our expectations. The meeting room was a good size and well equipped and lit; the catering services were great and the staff continually flexible and helpful. The hotel rooms are excellent value and overall feedback from my colleagues was that the hotel was a good location for our meeting. We hope to return!

Very nice, clean, and convenient hotel with access to the Rome metro (subway) via a short 15 minute drive. The hotel has been recently renovated and is modern. The restaurant offers fine dining, amd the hotel also has spa services, which my wife gave 5 stars. There is a bar/cafe downstairs that is open 24 hours. It provides great capuccino and pastries in the morning, sandwiches and drinks in the afternoon and evening.

Nice place with very helpful staff. Clean and nice rooms. Just singles are really small. Breakfast is ala carte which is really great. By the way delicious

Great location, 20mins taxi to Ciampino Airport. Room was lovely and quiet. Bath was a whirlpool one and lots of decent freebies in the bathroom. Spa was great (albeit 4 or t things, plus free tea, water and fresh apples). Staff were professional and helpful. We only stayed the night before we returned so didn't get a chance to try the food or other facilities. Would definitely return. Walk in to town is maybe 15 mins, uphill, but it's a nice walk

This hotel is very quaint and has excellent staff service. We reached Villa Mercede by car from Sorrento. Because we're not from Italy, we were happy to arrive at the hotel with easy access to Rome without actually having to drive through any Rome traffic. The hotel itself is very modern, smaller rooms maximize space with wall closet/organizers that are visually pleasing.

While we didn't spend much time in the hotel itself, we loved coming back and having the pool that overlooks the suburbs of Rome open until 11! It was lovely to end a day of walking with a casual swim and glass of wine by the pool.

If you're staying here, we recommend you pay VERY close attention to the train times--we almost got stuck both in Frascati and Rome longer than we wanted--but this is easily avoidable. The free shuttle to the Frascati train station from the hotel is convenient and helpful.

This was my first hotel to stay during my first visit to Italy. Hotel Villa Mercede is fancy with a lounge and bar connected to it, so you always have drinks and snacks through the night. Plus they have a pool which I didn't have time to enjoy. The receptionists were extremely attentive, polite and professional. My (yes, my lol) bartender, Joseph, worked magic with his drinks. The location is just a short walk to the train station and local shops/food in Frascati. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Italy. Grazie per la tua ospitalita.

Stayed here for a business meeting. Excellent food , service levels and most importantly away from the hustle bustle of Rome . A train from Rome termini to frascati is what is required to get here in 30 minutes . The lady at reception was fantastic .

Very happy with every thing to do with this hotel. Food, location , staff . One major plus was the Bed !! It was so comfy I struggled to leave it .
