The best food experience I've had living in Sicily thus far! Everything was amazing. It's far out but find way to get there. The prices are also outstanding for the quality. Steak for 10 euros!

Getting to this restaurant is an adventure. The roads are definitely not the best. But, the old hunting lodge is in an amazing location with beautiful views. Probably the best Sicilian restaurant that I have ever eaten at. Now for the food, this is the true gem with outstanding variety and so very fresh. The appetizer had 18- 20 different items and everything is so fresh and all homemade. The pasta is all homemade. We did not have enough room for the meats which looked amazing. I would highly recommend this place to eat!! I will be back for next year.

Fantastic Sicilian experience. We happened upon this restaurant by chance, unknowingly this was their final day of holiday.

The owner could not have been more accommodating of us. Even though they were not open, and staff were just preparing for opening the following day, he could not have been more welcoming . He allowed us to swim in their pool and to share a meal with him and the staff. I cannot praise his wife Sabina’s cooking highly enough. The food we ate was simple, however the flavours were absolutely spectacular.

I have never experienced such a delicious meal and in such an amazing atmosphere as what we were shown. The hospitality we received was second to none.

We returned the following night for dinner wanting to indulge in the full experience that is Ardigna. We were not disappointed.

Our eyes were larger than our stomachs, and our only wish was we had more companions to dine with to experience more of the menu on offer. Though we couldn’t fit in dessert at the time, we took away a serving of everything.

In short, this is a restaurant we would cross the world to experience again.

Amazing! Very nice place and so tasty food. Full menu 35€ is perfect only if you are very hungry, worth money, otherwise go for just a main (everything is delicious)

This place is simply wow… if you are within an hour drive you should book a table and go there.
It’s not simple with a gps but not too hard, just follow the paved road (they are all a bit ruined but there’s also path in an unpaved road that some gps provide that I would not do with a car).
Anyway the trip is way worth the experience… the food quality, quantity and the location are unreal.

The must go place for Sicilian food lover (beef oriented). Practically flawless from quality, quantity, and ambiance.

Nice tasty authentic food at this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Exciting car drive to this oasis. Great flavorful antipasti and delicious ravioli, topped off with charcoal fired bbq meat. Professional and friendly staff and owner. Upgraded the house wine, and they gave me a bottle of local wine that was top notch. Had a great evening! Thanks

About the place: This is so far one of the best Sicilian Restaurants in Trapani Province. It is a isolated restaurant in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by spectacular views. The road is not in the best conditions but is possible to reach them with any kind of vehicle. About the food and menu: very extensive and completed, more than 20 starters, many options for first and second plates, home made pasta and 100% local products. Five Star Service. Is a really good culinary experience. Booking in advance is advisable.

Quite a ride to get there, but all worth it. Arguably the best food we had in Sicily. Beware of the big portions though. If you go for primi + secondi you should rather share the pasta. Catching atmosphere, super nice staff and fun owner Toto.

This is indeed one of my favourite places, possibly my favourite in Trapani. The food is a superb symphony of well prepared local recipes like my Grandma used to do, together with a very attentive staff and a beautiful location.
Shame that each time I visit there are hordes of screaming, feral kids whose parents do not give a toss about anyone else.

So much food! So incredibly delicious! The fixed menu option was worth the money and then some. Prepared mostly in house. Home made cheeses, sheep milk ricotta which was amazing. 15 antipasti, 3 primi and 5 mains. Followed by 6 types of home made desserts. Then wine and amaro.
Well worth the drive. Amazing value and service.
They even made a special gluten free pasta for me. 5 stars

Ardigna is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. Salvatore and his team made us feel beyond welcome and served us a meal that we might have seen in our wildest dreams. The fixed menu at just €35/person started with wine and 20(!) plates of antipasti that had virtually everything you can imagine - bruschetta (fabulous bread!), olives, artichokes, zucchine, mushrooms, ricotta, polpette and various meats in sauces - plates kept appearing and this spread alone would have kept us full for at least two days. Next came heavenly pasta, the leftovers of which were packed up for us and were enough for next evening's meal. The platter of meats for secondi we had bagged before they even got to us, we were so full at that point. Add pineapple, cakes, coffee and amaro for dessert.
All of this served with charme and humour. We were allowed to stay in our camper overnight in the parking lot and treated to cappuccino and croissants by Salvatore the next morning. An amazing experience we won't forget and we hope to be back! Everyone should drive the extra mile (never mind the bumpy roads) to come to this remote spot.
Mille Grazie, Salvatore!

AMAZING food! Really, really worth the drive up the mountain. Matarocco is magnificent - not too much garlic - and I could eat just that for dinner! Usually gnocchi are made rubbery, but these are so warm and so delicate! The sauce is great too, love the cream and pistachio mix. All the pasta is made "al dente" - perfect! Been here 5 times over my past 4 visits to Sicily - and will happily return again next year!
