Comming from Segasta temples a note was on our car to have lunch here as many resturants closed that day in the area.
We decided to give it a go.
A long drive in a windy unmade road but what a surprise at the end.
Beautiful old place and great service and food.
Need a car to go here.

Must visit restaurant, bring an appetite and plenty of time to enjoy a wonderful meal. Excellent staff. Do not miss the opportunity.

A must have for anyone visiting Seggesta or this part of Sicilia. The most authentic Sicilian experience we had on our trip, and one of the best meals of my life. We went with a group of four and had plate after plate of local appetizers and two massive plates of pasta to share among all of us. Every single thing we tried was delicious, even the snails and tripe which were almost too much for the squeamish but everyone agreed they loved them in the end. The meal came with bread baked in a nearby town in an old wood fired oven, and the owner even helped us try and contact some family we had in the area! The road to the location is bumpy, but the rural peace and delicious food you get afterwards are incredibly worth it. I still catch myself daydreaming about the pistachio gnocchi weeks later.

My family came here after visiting Segesta and I'm very glad we did! The road suggested by Google Maps was extremely bumpy and rough for our little rental car but the stunning decoration/views, friendly staff, and excellent food more than made up for it! Ask your servers what they recommend! We came for a late lunch and it was one of the best on our whole trip.

The road towards this place is a bit tricky, it's not asphalted and thight.

One of our favorite detours in Sicily, if a little intimidating to get here. Come for the prix fixe lunch... No better bargain anywhere, and quite delicious.

Siamo andati con amici una domenica e l'agriturismo era pienone . La strada per arrivarci è un po' scomoda. Ci sono circa 6minuti di strada sterrata, sembrava di non arrivare più. Il locale é molto rustico, pieno di fiori e con una vista bellissima.
Per quanto riguarda il cibo, tutto super buono per essere menu fisso. Il nostro cameriere preferito il signor Giorgio. Ci ha coccolati dall'inizio alla fine del pranzo. Molto cortese e simpatico. Qualità prezzo ottimo. Ci ritorneremo peccato però per la strada

È stata, una bellissima domenica trascorsa insieme alla mia famiglia in questa, meravigliosa tenuta immersa nel verde. Servizio, impeccabile, i camerieri oltre ad essere precisi, gentili, erano anche molto ironici e simpatici. I miei figli, hanno apprezzato il parco giochi ,e noi abbiamo apprezzato di guardare loro mentre giocavano e al contempo potevamo ammirare, quel bel paesaggio in altura. Ciliegina sulla torta....IL MANGIARE....Tutto veramente impeccabile dall'antipasto al dolce....Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo! Di sicuro, ci ritorneremo, perché dove c è buon cibo, solarità e igiene, c'è TUTTO!!! 😉

Molte volte rimani titubante leggendo certe recensioni e stavolta qll negative erano proprio errate! Abbiamo visitato il sito di Segesta e arrivata l'ora del pranzo, Google ha suggerito Margana! La strada è davvero sterrata ma praticabile e la sorpresa all'arrivo all' agriturismo è piacevole! Bel locale caratteristico, tanti ricordi rupestri in un atmosfera calda e accogliente! Il cibo è OTTIMO, antipasto primo e secondo cucinato cm dovizia è presentato con amore! Il vino della casa veramente buono! Il proprietario gentile e lo staff attento al cliente, i prezzi accessibili e onesti! Lo consiglio vivamente!

Sono stata a pranzo in questo locale assieme ad amici, posto davvero carino... abbiamo pranzato veramente bene e tutto di gusto, proprietario gentilissimo e molto disponibile nell accontentare le richieste se qualcosa non è gradita, personale gentile e molto premuroso...

La strada per arrivare al posto è abbastanza tortuosa, ma con il navigatore vi si arriva senza problemi. In aggiunta sono disposte lungo il percorso numerose indicazioni. Appena arrivati il contorno è mozzafiato, un piccolo angolo di paradiso rurale siciliano, la struttura oltre ad essere un ristorante offre anche abitazioni (di cui non ho usufruito) ma che sembrano davvero interessanti. Ma veniamo al pranzo, ci accomodano all'interno di una sala finemente curata e rinfrescata dall'utilizzo di silenziosi ventilatori e ci vengono subito serviti dell'acqua e dell'ottimo prosecco. L'antipasto Marturana del quale ordiniamo due porzioni in 4 corrisponde ad un orgasmo gastronomico di 14 pietanze tipiche locali.Proseguo con degli gnocchi al pistacchio semplicemente deliziosi e concludo con un caffè rinunciando causa possibile indigestione al dolce.
Per uno dei migliori pranzi della mia vita (5 primi piatti, i 2 mega antipasti, 1 bottiglia e mezzo di prosecco,2 bottiglie d'acqua grandi e 4 caffè) abbiamo speso 32 euro a testa.
Dieci e lode, solo in pochi posti si può mangiare così bene a questi prezzi. Più unico che raro.
