Ristorante Rifugio Capanna Cervino

The Capanna Cervino was born in the 1930s thanks to an innovative idea of a "ski school" by the local tourism pioneer Afredo Paluselli.
Alpine guide and great lover of the Dolomites, Alfredo Paluselli, after having identified the place where to organize his ski school, the first ski school in the Dolomites, began to prepare in his laboratory in Ziano di Fiemme, the pieces that would give life to the Capanna Cervino, one of the first examples of prefabricated buildings. The name was chosen in honor of Cimon della Pala, nicknamed the "Matterhorn of the Dolomites". Thus, in 1931, the Capanna Cervino was born. Alfredo Paluselli, guided by his innovative spirit, began to offer his guests the first "holiday packages" including ski lessons, accommodation and food, transport from Paneveggio to Passo Rolle with private cars, establishing a sort of shuttle service, after having designed and created two ski slopes that from Passo Rolle through the forest of violins, reached Paneveggio. Here, customers could rest by having a tea in the hotel managed by Alfredo himself and then going back up to Passo Rolle. Customers, especially foreigners (Germans and English), were arriving in ever greater numbers and the Capanna Cervino gradually expanded its spaces to satisfy the ever-increasing number of tourists. Then came the war and post-war years where tourism was only a distant memory.
Alfredo Paluselli in 1946 was forced to sell the Capanna Cervino to Mr. Dagostin of Cavalese, a timber merchant who gave it to Alfredo's brother, Giovanni Pauselli, who over time managed to redeem the property and manage it until the 1990s . In 1996 the Capanna Cervino was purchased by the Mich family from Predazzo. "Our commitment is to transmit the passion and values that our ancestors have handed down to us." Following the renovation in autumn 2022, the Capanna Cervino refuge now has 7 rooms with bathrooms private rooms and 2 rooms with a shared bathroom.The furnishings are simple, essential, inspired by high mountain homes.

Capanno Cervino, mi è entrato nel cuore questo rifugio. La sensazione emozionale che ho provato in questo posto, è stata al di sopra delle aspettative. La location è di una bellezza disarmante, ti lascia senza parole. Ho avuto la fortuna di vedere un tramonto, un’alba e un cielo stellato meravigliosi.La struttura rinnovata, recentemente , camera praticamente nuova , grande confortevole , accogliente, curate sotto ogni aspetto, nella sua semplicità. Bel gioco di luci sia in camera che in bagno, creano un atmosfera molto gradevole. Molto grazioso il bagno, con ampia doccia. La nostra stanza ,con finestre disposte in modo da avere la visuale mozzafiato delle Pale di San Martino e tutto il panorama che offre il comprensorio di Passo Rolle. Personale stupendo ,la signora Elena gentilissima e disponibile , ci ha veramente coccolati.Ho conosciuto anche il figlio Michele Doliana, che oltre preparare ottimi piatti della cucina locale e’ un bravissimo fotografo naturalista.Ho potuto ammirare i suoi meravigliosi scatti in un libro fotografico , al rifugio.
Sicuramente sarà una meta fissa , questo posto!

Bellissimo rifugio/ristorante da poco ristrutturato con un menù vario, ingredienti molto buoni, servizio veloce e cortese e prezzi in linea. Si raggiunge con una bella passeggiata da passo Rolle e poi si può proseguire per Baita Segantini e tutto il meraviglioso sentiero che prosegue. Bellissima giornata, bello il posto, andateci!

Più che un rifugio è proprio un ristorante. L'ambiente è nuovo, rinnovato e curato.
È facilmente raggiungibile a piedi da passo Rolle in circa 20'.
Offre una buona cucina tipica locale; le dosi sono normali da consentire di assaggiare primo e secondo.
Accettano i cani all'interno senza problemi.

Spätzle buonissimi. Servizio buono, purtroppo a causa dell’elevato numero di persone all’interno del locale abbiamo dovuto attendere 7-8 minuti per essere accomodate (comprensibile).
Nonostante ciò il personale è stato molto gentile e veloce nel servire i piatti.

Splendido rifugio tipico, menu tradizionale con ampia scelta tra taglieri, piatti unici, primi, secondi e dolci.
Qualità nei prodotti e servizio rapido e professionale sono i punti di forza.
Ottimo rapporto qualità / prezzo.
Visto che il Rifugio è raggiungibile anche con auto e navette…. in orari di punta è difficile trovare posto (apertura cucina ore 11:45).

In questo rifugio, facile da raggiungere un una mezz'ora di camminata tranquilla a piedi partendo dal passo Rolle, si mangia un'ottima cucina di montagna in un ambiente tipico con ottimo servizio.
Ci sono tavoli all'aperto ed anche al coperto ma consiglio sempre di prenotare.

Posto situato in un ambiente unico. Cibo di buona qualità con locali gradevoli e accoglienti. Ci torneremo in estate!

Bravi bravi e ancora bravi, porzioni giuste verso l'abbondante per finire sazi, servizio attento e cordiale, professionalità (che è il più bel complimento che si possa fare), materie prime genuine e cura nell' impiattamento.
Se proprio si vuole cercare il pelo sull'uovo la birra era spillata in fretta, ma con tutto il resto si sorvola.
