I loved this place, despite how crowded it normally is. So much energy and excitement. Great snorkeling. Cliff diving. A true taste of how much Italians love their sea coast. Wear water shoes. Rocky beach.

A wonderful place that warms the soul. However, if you want to enjoy this place, come early in the morning or off-season.

A unique and beautiful beach hidden in a little inlet. The views here are stunning, just make sure you bring swim shoes if taking a dip as the rocks can be quite slippy. There are a number of stray cats around, with one wonderful and friendly little black cat who led us down to the beach one night, if you happen to cross this cats path, give him a little pat on the head and some food if you have some spare.

Awesome beach, definitely worth a visit, we arrived in Apulia couple of days ago, so there weren’t many tourist around! I guess that would have been different a month ago! The colors of the sea are just breathtaking, could ask for a better start of our holidays!

Beautiful pebble beach, a bit difficult to swim on the stones but really fun. Kids were enjoying it so much and there is a beautiful cave where you go for the cliff jumping spot. Highly recommend to spend time here.

When you are in Polignano a Mare definetly you will be there.. the town is small and this is a place that you will check out. A must visit when in Apuglia~~ love this place and will recommend others to include this on their trip. A small town easy to explore

Absolutely amazing! Very nice beach and view from above. In order to go to the beach itself, you have to continue forward then go down to a tunnel that leads all the way down. Also there is a big stairway the leads to a flat platform near water with also a fantastic view!

Beautiful cove with a free public stone beach. Water is fresh and clear just 10 meters from shore. The cliffs on the sides give a place to sit. Very crowded on sunny days. No rental services. Unique experience. Don't take glass! Stupid people have left broken glass along the cliffs.

Lama Monachile, located in Polignano a Mare, is a breathtaking natural wonder that captivates visitors with its unmatched beauty. This small but magnificent cove, also known as the "Beach of the Bride," is nestled between towering cliffs and pristine turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea. Its name originates from the old days when monks sought solitude in this enchanting spot. The lama, or gorge, creates a stunning visual contrast against the ancient whitewashed buildings of the town. Sunsets here are a spectacle, painting the sky with vibrant hues as the waves crash against the rugged rocks. Lama Monachile is a true gem, an emblem of nature's awe-inspiring artistry.

Amazing. You can take stairs to the bottom or you walk along the slopes. If you have walking footwear then you can cope with the cobbled slopes otherwise use the stairs. Beautiful clear water. The beach is full of pebbles, no sand!!

Crowded but very beautiful. It's really worth to visit. You can jump from cliffs and swim under them

Busy but worth the effort. If you are in luck you will see cliff diving from a really high height. Excellent parking only 500m away. The beach is stoney so if you can take a padded roll that is the best to lie down on

Very crowded during the summer but you shouldn't miss this place. Coming from the Philippines, I have seen lots of amazing beaches but this one just tops the list. Make sure to add this to your future plans whenever visiting Italy!

Loveliest place in Puglia. We went in the beginning of May and there were many people but it was not overcrowded, which made it perfect. Although it probably will be very crowded I would go there in the summer to see the crystal clear blue water and swim in it as it is really peaceful.

Depending on what day you got here it's Instagram verse reality. The look out at the top is a huge chokepoint for walkers trying to get through to the center of the city. It's very pretty and it makes very good social media photos so I understand why the crowd went crazy for photos
