Osteria Antico Brolo

Didn’t expected this is a 2020 Michelin recommended restaurant before visiting it on 23rd April 2024. Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere and food presentations. Customers and staff were friendly. Beef tartare was irresistible and fresh. Opened a bottle of white wine. One of the most enjoyable nights with the family. Thank you for my son and family for everything.

thank you for your hospitality! We stopped by on a Wednesday and didn't have a reservation. nevertheless we got a nice table and we were allowed to take the dog with us. The house wine was very good and the pasta with truffle was good but a bit pricey. In the end it was a nice visit and for a nice service, for a pleasant ambience and above all for good food you are happy to pay a little more - see you next time!

Absolutely wonderful meal at this delightful establishment. Attentive but never overbearing staff, food served promptly and with grace. I could not recommend this place with any higher regard. If you are within even an hour of this little slice of heaven, it would be a disservice to yourself to not venture here. 10/10, all round amazing.

Sublime food and attentive service. The carbonara egg starter was fantastic, and the beef main melted in your mouth. Would highly recommend.

Not just food but an experience. We visited twice and everything we tried from the menu was sublime. Some of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted in my life. If you are in Gardone or even within travelling distance do yourself a favour.
The staff are also really fantastic, restaurant is so atmospheric and cute. Couldn’t recommend something more.

By far, the best food experience we had around the Garda Lake. Incredible tasty food! Sophisticated, yet the portions were very generous. Service was nothing but perfect! Could not recommend more!

An absolutely exquisite restaurant, very niche looking and absolutely screams “Italian Backstreet Restaurant” since that’s exactly what it is, not too much of a view, good interior design though with the few special places to dine being the wine cellar and the mini balcony (Capable of only fitting 2 people on it for a date). The food is as good as it gets, verging onto Michelin Recommended. The staff speak Italian, English, Dutch, German and Russian (Been there 4 times already so heard it all). Would recommend booking a few days/weeks in advance due to high demand during peak summer season, but if you are lucky 2-3 people could get in on that off chance it’s free. In terms of parking it’s a bit of a nightmare, it’s suggested you either park next to the Vittoralie Degli Italiana Museum and have a 5 minute stroll through town, or park next to the Communa Riviera Del Garda. Just as a good note, before and after going to the restaurant stop off at the bar on that corner right next to the restaurant for a brilliant beer or aperol spritz. Otherwise enjoy your fine dining.

Beautiful osteria, hidden away in the heights of Gardone. Food is excellent, with slightly tweaked authentic flavours and friendly, courteous service. The local wine they suggested was also delicious.

The most incredible lunch I had in Italy. I’ve went to Italy every year and this was the best place by far. Both service and food was exceptional!

We stayed in the B&B for two nights and had a great time. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated, with view of the lake. The breakfast was delicious with wide variety of sweet and salty options, fresh fruit, yoghurts, etc. and freshly made cappuccino and other coffees. Staff was very friendly and kind. They even provided us with a gift as we were celebrating a birthday during our stay. Great location a little walk up the mountain from Gardone Riviera’s lakeside. Would very much recommend staying here.

The food here is a dream. We loved the pastas, the cheese board and highly recommending the coconut caviar for dessert.
