Stopped here to fill up. Lovely lady helped me with card machine to get started. Then had a lovely chat with her. X

The burgers here are unbelievably good! The woman working the counter was very helpful in picking out some favorites.
The gas pump did not take our card for whatever reason so we did get gas elsewhere. We would come back for the food though!

I had a fried steak sandwich here and it was delicious! then a walk through the village to look at the lighthouse as the sun was setting. Just wonderful, and a perfect end to my Iceland holiday.

If you want to see a typical Icelandic petrol station shop as they were everywhere in the 1990s or earlier, you need to go there.
The furniture, colours, smells, noises, all is there. Only the guy at the till is a tad too friendly in comparison to those of the past. But that is of course great.
Great ice cream, and I understand the snacks are good too. This is not a health food place and does not pretend to be.
