Byggðasafnið á Garðskaga The Heritage Museum at Garðskagi

Nice Museum, very friendly staff who share info on line in the past. Normally the museum is closed after October 1 for the summer season. Today October 4 they opened up to a number of us who thought it would be open at noon. Google hours are not up to date for the fall & winter season.

we have never experienced a better and more informative museum tour, it was so much fun! Thanks so much!

It was closed in the evening, when I took the photo. But from outside it is nice. There is also good explanation written in English, close to this point - explaining the history of both Old and New Lighthouses

Komum með stóran hóp erlendra gesta í tónleikaferð. Fengum frábærar móttökur, skemmtilega og fróðlega leiðsögn. Great for groups, personal and informative.

Die Speisen waren gut und erschwinglich. Dieser Ort hat einen besonderen Flair. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Besuch war es wert. Wir kommen wieder 😊

Excellente Küche für einen fairen Preis, super nettes Personal und die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einmalig, ab und zu hat man Glück und sieht dort Buckelwale springen.
