A unique sunset! The waterfall is smaller than other waterfalls however very quiet and pretty. Thanks for the local Icelandic tour guide (called NiceTravel) taking us here to experience this sunset.

Fossalar Falls is a stunning natural wonder! The beauty of the falls is truly mesmerizing, making it a must-see destination for nature lovers. The added amenities, including the gift shop and restaurant, complement the experience perfectly. Having these conveniences nearby enhances the visit, allowing you to appreciate the natural beauty while still enjoying the comforts of a well-equipped location.

If you’re driving through Iceland and you see somewhere to pull off that 1) allows people to visit, and 2) you can park at safely without endangering others, than you shouldn’t miss the opportunity. This was one such place and was a nice pretty place to spend 20 minutes.

Very lovely waterfall along the main road that catches your eye as you pass it on your left side heading east. You can park across the street from the waterfall and walk to it. The parking area is pretty uneven and beat up, so just be cautious and attentive if you have a low clearance vehicle.
I arrived here to my first Icelandic midnight sun. Super memorable experience trying to take long exposure photos of a waterfall at midnight and having too much sunlight :)

On the way to Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon , we came across this beautiful waterfall on the side of Ring Road. It was the perfect place to relax and stretch out after a long drive from Hella. You part on one side of the road, cross the road and the waterfall is right there.
For the photographers, perfect scenery for a long exposure shot to get that milky white water. Not to be missed.

Our guide stopped us here at a parking lot that wasn't there two weeks earlier, so another one of those secret places that is gaining traction. This new parking area on the left side of the road (the falls side) was large enough for our caoch to get in and turn.
Our guide this the nameless falls because it has no name that he is aware of. I wondered if it might be Fossalar, because that is what the sign on the bridge crossing it says. He said no - that means "stream of many falls". referring to the mountains they came from.
Yet, I find Fossalar waterfalls identified as a place on Google Maps. Makes me wonder if it is actually named that or if someone made an assumption like I did and it is becoming a meme.
Very nice little set of falls regardless. Would be great for a picnic.

what a beautiful waterfall. Just 300m away from Foss a Siao, and along the main road. There is a small carpark just opposite to it. This is a must stop by spot. The turquoise blue color really so nice. Do yourself a favor, if you drive past, do make a stop here

One of our favourite Icelandic off road stops. If you have a few minutes - this is a stunning stop.

Wow! The parking lot was a good size. Quick walk down to the main part of the falls.

Extremely beautiful waterfall on ground level. Stop by when you’re driving past to take pictures it is really one of the best I’ve seen in Iceland. I also refilled my bottle with fresh water from it :) in the background u can see 2 other waterfalls falling too.

You can see this waterfall from the road, you are so close you just turn off the road, park and you’re next to it. The waterfall is powerful with quite a few outlets with a strong flow.
If you’re short on time you can just see it as you drive past, or take a quick stop and look at it.

Nice little stop during the road trip. There's parking off the road to stop and enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful waterfall! You can park at the other side of the road, cross over and then you are already there.

Beautiful, simple parking right off of main road.

One of the best road side stops in Southern Iceland. Love the surrounding landscape as much as the falls.

A very pretty picturesque waterfall right by the road. It takes less than a minute to see it if you're driving down the road so you may as well stop and have a look.

More so rapids than a waterfall (by Iceland standards anyway), but still a great spot to stop and stretch your legs and snap a few pictures.

You can see this waterfall early on the way from Vik to Jökulsárlón. The fall is not high compare to others but quite spectacular. Parking is available on the other side of the road.

One of the waterfalls on this road, quite a nice one, with several cascades. It is not that high, yet poses a nice scenery with the view. If you want to probe the water, go a bit uphill, there is some grass to sit and also if you want - put the feet into water. Is freezing cold thou, yet refreshing. There is a parking space on the same side as waterfall.
