Hamrafoss Cafe

A pretty cafe with a great view of the waterfall on the other side. It has a lot of character and a good selection of drinks and light snacks.
Great for a stop between Reykjavík and Vik. Unusually for Iceland their English isn't perfect but a smile, an English menu and some pointing makes everything easy. They are friendly and helpful.
Recommended.

Cute cafe with a gorgeous view of the waterfall on the other side of the road. Perfect for a break on a sunny day. We were staying in the area and came here after a glacier hike. It’s pretty much the only choice you have in the area, so we were lucky to find it.

The most beautiful café in the middle of the Icelandic nowhere!!! I think I could live there for ever!! The owner is super cute and everything is very tasty!!! Don't miss it!!

The loveliest cafe with a view of the waterfall. We had the smoked trout crumpets and asparagus soup, with a couple of cappuccinos and it was all delicious. The waitress was really polite and friendly. Highly recommend this as a beautiful, peaceful lunch spot.

Loved this café! It was so cute, stylish and very clearly run by a family that loves it. The family running it were extremely friendly and spent some time talking with us. The building is a barn, passed down from the owner’s grandfather, which they converted into a beautiful space.. so cool! We stopped only for coffee, but they have other treats available. Coffee was good, very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend stopping if you’re in the area!

Wolderful Café! We stopped while it was quite windy and were welcomed very heartly. The Café is decorated very personal. The owner told us a bit about her family. The hot chocolate and cake were very tasty. As we left, the owner wished us a safe travel and told us to be careful in this storm. Thank you so much!

Homemade cakes in a beautiful and traditionally decorated place just behind a beautiful waterfall

A lovely little find! Stopped by with the intention to just grab a quick coffee but stayed for lunch! Really enjoyed the soup, so nice on a chilly and rainy day. Very cute decorations, lovely location. Would recommend anyone stop by here for a nice break.

Very nice and cosy atmosphere in the cafe, with delicious homemade cakes and great coffee and the prises are very fair. Definitely worth to stop for it 😊 It is on the other side of the road than google maps says, directly next to the street.

Me and my gf went here because it was the only place open in the nearby area and we were not disappointed. Great place, great view, great staff and reasonably priced. Coffee 10/10.

Really nice place directly at the Ring Road. The owner was so nice and the food was good. The view on the waterfall is also very nice. We can definitely recommend it :)
