A wonderful place in the middle of nowhere. We actually saw northern lights 3 days in a row during our stay.
A cosy fishing village with interesting nature around it and good places to hike.

Beautiful campsite with excellent facilities. There is a kitchen and a table to sit and eat at. You do need to bring your own kitchen utensils. Everything is very neat and clean. The shower (500 ISK, 8 min) was great. You can also use the washing machine and dryer (for a fee) if you’d like.

Comfortable, quiet, clean, and the camp hostess was very kind. Stayed for one night. Water has a sulfuric smell. Best to bring filtered water in for making coffee /teas. Kitchen is great for cooking and cleaning dishes. Takk Skagaströnd tjaldsvædi, for a pleasant visit.

A very clean and well-kept campsite. Walk up the adjacent rocks for a beautiful view of the area. Our daughter loved the zipline and played on it for hours!

Excellent little camp not far from the sea. Was able to find a quiet corner and erect my 10m ham radio antenna without any issues with the friendly owner.
Toilets, shower, washer dryer, kitchen and common room. All very warm and comfortable.

Nice campsite. 4 toilets, social room with kitchen - kettle and cooker, washing machine with dryer (400kr), camping card. No showers though.

We stayed in one of the mobile homes. Very comfy and great value.

The views of the mountains were amazing and it was great to get to see the northern lights.

Very clean and the host was accommodating with sorting out this place last minute.

Extremely peaceful and would stay here again.

The park area is great for the children aswell.

Really nice and quiet campsite. Camsite also offers inside common area with kitchen (electric), washing machine, dryer, nice toilets. Bathroom is 500 isk (in coins) for 8 minutes. Campsite is clean and managed well.

Quiet and well kept, the service house was clean and cosy. There are sinks both outside and inside, and there's a kitchen to cook and table to sit down and eat comfortably. There's a shower for a additional fee, but I would rather recommend going to a local swimming pool where is possible to either take a shower (for a smaller fee than at the campground and with no time limit) or have a lovely time in a hot tube with a cup of coffee.

Lovely quiet setting with view of the sea, warm clean lodge open to all visitors with kitchen, bathrooms, laundry. Clean and well maintained. Beautiful short hike nearby at the cliffs, accessible through town just past pool.

The owners of this place are really great. We came during the off season (the site says they are open in May, but the owners said they don't open until May 16th). We called the owners when we got there and they came and unlocked the bathrooms and turned on the heat for us. We were able to wash clothes here as well. Showers weren't on yet, though.
