The Iron Age Museum

-A terrifying but meaningful experience
-it's not a big museum and probably isn't what you expect it to be, but it's worth visiting
-will probably be under construction whenever you visit (it's still open tho)

The Iron Age museum is in the middle of the city Tabriz. The main gate at the back. If bring a car can park at the front main street but go walk inside the building and going to back main gate.
There is interesting to see and learn. In the middle of the city.
Tourist area, near market, museum and restaurant.

Amazing to see an iron age burial site and great choice in not moving them. Feels like being in a archeological site. Recommended.

basically everything with a sense of spookiness is fun for me and iron age museum with its exhibits from ancient era is one of those places I liked a lot!

the most dazzling thing about the buried in here is that they were put in their graves just in the way a baby is grows in his mother's womb, bent and upside down with knees in front of his face. it is insane how they could have known this without devices and technology like ultrasound.

Tabriz's Iron Age Museum is an ancient site located in the north, northeastern and northwest of the Tabriz Mosque. It includes the cemetery and clay art of the Iron Age.
The works were obtained in 1376, including 38 graves in the form of embryos buried. The grave of the infants is simple and the teens' gore is in square structures with two sacks. Most of the bodies found are dead at an early age. Children are buried with their toys and women with jewels and men with their war material. Along with some of the corpses of pottery and food effects, they have found their belief in the sanctity, and those who have found more dishes next to them may have been richer. Chinese stone around the bodies is a symbol of the wall of the womb, and the bodies are buried in embryonic or polygonal form, which differ in their body and face, which again confirms their sympathy. Since 2006, the site has become the first Iranian museum in Iran.
The opening ceremony of the Museum of the Iron Age of Tabriz was held on May 30, 2007 with the presence of Jafari, Deputy Director of Culture and Communication of the Cultural Heritage Organization. The site is open to the public.

A must see of Tabriz. It is an ancient cemetery which goes back to the Iron Age. One can see the way they used to bury dead bodies at that time and find out about their beliefs by seeing the objects berried with the dead people.

Astonishing and mouth opening. Skeletons are found under ground accidentally and now are a reference for iron age traditions.

It was breathtaking when you found out 3200 years ago people were buried.

A small but interesting museum, with some very old skeletons of humans.

این موزه مال هزاره اول و دوم قبل میلاد ، ۳۸ گور وجود داره ، کودکان با اسباب بازی ها ، جوانتر ها با ظروف سفال ، مردها با ابزار جنگی و زنان با جواهراتشان، حالت بدنها جمع هستش برای همین احتمالا آیین اونها مهرپرستی بوده ، نورپردازی تهویه هم عالی بود حتما تشریف ببرید

سایت موزه عصر آهن تبریز، محوطهٔ باستانی است که در شمال، شمال شرقی و شمال غربی مسجد کبود تبریز واقع شده‌است. شامل گورستان و آثار سفالی مربوط به عصر آهن است.
آثار بدست آمده در سال ۱۳۷۶ بدست آمد که شامل ۳۸ گور به صورت جنینی دفن شده یافت شد. گور نوزادان به صورت ساده بوده و گور نوجوانان در سازه‌های مربعی با دو ظرف سفالی همراه است. اکثر اجساد یافت شده در سنین پایین مرده‌اند. کودکان با اسباب بازی‌هایشان دفن شده‌اند و زن‌ها با جواهرات و مردها با ابزار جنگی شان. در کنار بعضی اجساد ظروف سفالی و اثرات غذا یافت شده که اعتقاد آنان بر آیین مهرپرستی را تأیید می‌کند و کسانی که ظروف بیشتری در کنارشان یافت شده، احتمالاً ثروتمندتر بوده‌اند. سنگ چینی دور اجساد نمادی از دیوارهٔ رحم است و اجساد به حالت جنینی یا چمباتمه‌ای دفن شده‌اند که جهت بدن و صورتشان متفاوت است که باز هم تأییدی بر مهرپرست بودن آنهاست. این سایت از سال ۱۳۸۵ به عنوان اولین موزه صحرایی ایران شروع به کار کرد.مراسم گشایش سایت موزه عصر آهن تبریز در تاریخ ۳۰ اردیبهشت ۱۳۸۶ با حضور جعفری معاونت فرهنگی و ارتباطات سازمان میراث فرهنگی کشور انجام شد. این محوطه در معرض بازدید برای عموم می‌باشد.

موزه عصر آهن (موزه) در محله گوی مسجد - خاقانی تبریز و خیابان ده متری خزر واقع شده است. این مکان یکی از دو موزه در محله گوی مسجد - خاقانی تبریز می‌باشد و از نظر موقعیت جغرافیایی در نزدیکی مراکز مهمی مانند بیمارستان زکریا، موزه آذربایجان و مجتمع تجاری اطلس و همچنین مسجد کبود، فروشگاه واو، نمایندگی مجاز رایتل تبریز، مرکز خرید کبود و آژانس مسافربری آترو گشت قرار گرفته است. با توجه به نزدیکی این مکان به ایستگاه مترو شهید بهشتی، برای دسترسی راحت‌تر و کمک به داشتن هوایی پاک‌تر، می‌توانید از وسایل حمل و نقل عمومی برای مراجعه به آن استفاده کنید.

من چهار سال پیش که این موزه به تازگی افتتاح شده بود بطور تصادفی با آن آشنا شدم و از آن بازدید کردم.بسیار موزه عجیب و زیبایی است هر چند که رانت خواران نظام برای آن مشکلاتی درست می کنند ولی حتما تا نابود نشده از آن بازدید کنید
