This is a government run shop so you can buy confidently. Everybody visiting Ooty will definitely buy chocolates, tea leaves and eucalyptus and other oils. Everywhere in Ooty all these items are sold but not sure how far they are credible but since this is govt store you can buy confidently. Spices and handmade woollen wear also available. Price is less compared to other places

This is a must visit shop for tourists if you want to buy natural products at adequate cost.... This shop has prices almost half for the same product sold in other shops. Good place to buy masala tea powder, green tea powder, spices, natural oils from ooty...you can also buy local Chocolates at cheaper rate (half rate) than outside.

Loved this place ,it's cooperative store where you get spices of all kind, essential oils and chocolates. The spices are very much cost effective. Green cardamom is costing 550/- rs per 250 grams,
Black pepper is 240/- rs per 500 grams ,
cloves cost 155/- rs for 250 grams, cinnamon 250 grams 85/- rs
Very cost effective other spices available.

You can get many grocery items and products which you'd not get mostly in outside shops. Spices and pulses are in huge variety. Good in quality too. Staffs are customer friendly. Really a nice govt aided store.

Those who are new to visit ooty Don't buy tea and chocolate from the factories you visit... Buy from here...it is cheaper here and it is government owned.. the factories you visit are private and you think you are getting directly from there so its cheaper but it was not..

Very good place for buying spices. Other shops sell the same twice as high. I am totally in love with cardomom and pepper. Its so fresh. Hard to get such high quality in chennai

Definitely worth a visit when in ooty. They sell genuine products like original eucalyptus oil and wintergreen oil at honest prices. They also sell medicines, groceries, food items and much more.

All nilgiri products like honey, spices, essential oils, tea powders are available here at reasonable prices.

Good quality local herbal products ( oils, Masalas). Price is cheaper compared to private stores but quality is much better.
