Thunder World

If you're alone or with family, visiting the wax museum is a must for a memorable experience. You can spend around 40 minutes exploring the museum, and there are other fun activities inside Thunder World as well. The best time to visit is at 10am when there are fewer crowds.

This was a really fun experience. They will give you different package options to choose from which includes different activities . We chose the super combo which includes almost all the activities. This was fun . It includes a camera museum, optical illusion, dinosaur land, 7D cinema also that was the best part. They have a gara fish spa ,small cafeteria and plenty of parking and areas to chill. They also had a snow area which was so fun . They provide snow gear and we can play in the artificial snow .

Situated in the centre of Ooty and near the railway station. The place has ample car parking space. Entry tickets for fun activities are nominal.

The place has an in-house restaurant. Fun activities include : Haunted House , 3D art photo space , Dino world , Snow City and many more.

Good value for the money, though including a wax museum would have been a nice addition. The unique concepts of Dinosaur World and the Rainforest were a first for me, and kids are sure to have a fantastic time.

Beautiful place to explore
A 5d theatre..beware if your hands n shoulder ache too much..5 min of shaking n jerking!!! But was a wonderful experience.

Dinosaur park was a feast to the eyes

Little expensive.. however the attraction were good and well maintained place. Bigfoot and Theatre were worth visiting for kid’s.

100% keeps the kids entertained.

My son being a dinosaur 🦕 fanatic loved the huge sized animal figurines which even make sound and move heads and necks.

The double decker bus ride, scary house are other good attractions.

The food court is very bad and ill maintained.

Ample parking. Avoid weekends as its filled with tourists.

Good for kids. They will enjoy it. The dinosaur park is good and the creativity is good. For adults, it is not that worth it that you must do it.

The highlight for me was the camera museum. It was both interesting and informative. What especially caught my attention was the array of spy cameras. Prior to this visit, I'd only seen and read about them in children's encyclopaedias.

Excellant all in one place in ooty. There are many amazing places inside it like snow world, rain forest , haunted house, big foot, third eye, infinity, vortex illusion, my India, trick eye and wonderful 5d movie

Best for kids. Camera collection is best one. Dinosaurs Park is also vary unique experience. Kids will definitely enjoy these kinds of activities.

It's a great themed park for kids. Having a dinosaur park is great fun for kids here. 5D and forest is also good. There are many games at this park. The museum of old cameras and the journey is inquisitive.
The kids had a lot of fun and had a great time here. Much recommended if you are in ooty

Little expensive but a good place to keep us entertained. The combos are around 400 to 500 rupees per head. Dino world is really good with realistic setup of dinosaur. There are more varities also. Kids will like this place as they have many rides for them. If one don't like to take a package, just take a entry ticket for 50rs and enjoy the place and munch something in food court just to kill some time.

Excellent place to hangout, nice ambience. Best value for money.
Do not miss the "big foot".

This place is not very far from the main market of Ooty. There are two combos available here - Super Combo and Special Combo. We took special combo as we didnot want to go to the Snow World.

Kid enjoyed Big Foot dino park the most followed by 5D movie which was for 6 minutes. Rest of the adventures like Scary House, Rainforest and Optical Illusion are just okay, nothing too great. This place is enjoyable for age groups 5-10 years. Others might find it boring.

There is a good court and a shopping centre both of which i wouldn't recommend at all. If you get hungry, grab a quick bite in the restaurant opposite Thunder World called Hafeiko. They have decent burgers, fries, sandwiches and coffee.

If you are visiting OOTY... Thunder world is a must to visit. Your time won't be wasted. Your entire family will love it. Especially the 5D theatre experience is amazing ❣😍😎

Best place for fun activities. Staff was very humble. We had fun with our 1 year old baby boy who wanted fired egg but food court did not have such thing in the menu. One of the cleaning lady helped us get fried egg free of cost. Very humble staff.
