Sattal Lake

Its a very beautiful lake located in between hills and dense forest. Many adventure activities are there to do including kayaking,Boating, zip lining,zorbing, bird watching. Multiple restaurants and hotels with great food servings are also available here.

The morning sunrise brought such a serene and tranquil atmosphere that I've never felt before. It was pure serenity at its peak.

Sattal Lake, with its azure waters and the gentle rustling of leaves, emanates an atmosphere of unparalleled tranquility. As I stepped into this haven, stress and tension seemed to evaporate, replaced by a profound sense of peace.
Our half-hour boating escapade provided a unique perspective of the surrounding mountains, verdant trees, and the lush greenery that envelopes the lake. The mirrored surface of the water served as a canvas, reflecting the natural splendor that encircles Sattal.
Spending around three hours at Sattal felt like a fleeting moment in time. The sheer beauty and tranquility of the place had a transformative effect, allowing me to momentarily forget the outside world and immerse myself in the present. It's a destination that encourages introspection and rejuvenation, leaving visitors with a renewed sense of well-being.

Tourists can enjoy boating, kayaking🚣, bird watching and fishing during their visit here.🏊 Hills around Sattal are ideal for activities like trekking🏃, rappelling, mountain biking🚴 and rock climbing.🧗 One can go and see the Butterfly museum in the town. There are many tour and adventure activities operators around the lake.
The weather is mostly very plesent.

Sattal Lake proved to be a hidden paradise. The tranquility of the surroundings made kayaking an exhilarating experience. The lake's serene charm, coupled with the thrill of ziplining, offered a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The best part? It's refreshingly less crowded, providing an intimate escape into nature. Sattal Lake is a must-visit for those seeking both tranquility and adventure.

I think out of the lakes that I visited - Sattal is my favorite. Located in the lap of nature, in absolute middle of forests, it's a magical experience to be here. We did the long boat ride. The person who was rowing the boat had been doing this for past 20 years - he had so many tales to share that included movies being shot here, or wild animals being regular visitors. The lake was humongous, super clean and a wonder in itself. I couldn't get enough of it.

Whole place is surrounded by trees and the vibe very natural as it is not that much crowded and not having building structures.
This place is perfect for family fun activities as there are several activities that you can do like :
1. Boating.
2. Somewhat like rafting.
3. Ropeway activity.
Some points you have to take care about before going to this place :
1. If you are local then it okay but not then at the on season time the traffic is very high due to which you could got stuck in traffic for about 3 to 4 hours.
2. Road is not that much wide, so make sure that you came with bike if you stay here for 2 to 3 days, it's more comfortable 😉.
And the main thing please don't throw any garbage here and there, the nature is for us and we have to take care of it.

Amazing places....
Very close to nature, very scenic views and very beautiful lakes on the way

This one is located nearly 7 to 8 kms from Bhovali and only be accessible by hired taxis. Bus will drop you nearly 5 kms away from the location. The lake is awesome and must be in your itinerary. You can enjoy the Kayak riding with just 200/- per person. Water is said to be 110 feet deep here.

There are many things to do at Sattal Lake. You can go for a boat ride on the lake, take a walk in the forest, or simply relax on the shore and enjoy the view. There are also a number of restaurants and hotels in the area, so you can easily find a place to stay.

I highly recommend visiting Sattal Lake. It is a beautiful and peaceful place that is perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The lake near Bhimtal is amazing! The water is very clean, and there are no bad smells. It's surrounded by big mountains, making it a great place to relax and enjoy nature. You should definitely visit if you want a peaceful and beautiful experience.

Boating is little expensive here as there is not regulatory body.

When we visited there were nobody except vendors. Less visited and less crowded place. May be it gets crowded during peak season only.
