This is the place from where you start trekking to Kumaraparvatha from Somavarpete side. All the necessary permissions can be obtained here.Forest officers are very friendly.If you inform them prior then breakfast, lunch and also dinner will be arranged at nominal prices. Washrooms are neat and clean. Tent Stay and Dormitory is available. Less crowded and Peaceful. Trek difficulty is easy to moderate from this side. 7kms of trek and it takes 3-4 hrs based on fitness.
