Very good place to spent some valuable time with friends. And also very toughest trekking that i have ever gone.
Completing trekking in one day is very difficult so we took halt after we reach around 1000ft. There tent, food facility will be there. So while trekking don’t carry tent. It will be heavy also with other stuff. Next day morning please start as early as possible to continue trek. Suggested time 4.00AM. Then only can able to complete trekking and witness sunrise.

I agree, 💯 The toughest trek in Karnataka as it is famous in his name🤕 don't go in weekend or Holidays it will crowded, try to visit in weekdays.
Information got when I got down after the trek.
The Kumara Parvatha trek will be closed soon at the end of February 2024.
Don't carry unnecessary things in your bag and knife, lighters are strictly prohibited and will be fine if caught and entry will be cancelled.
If possible try to climb from the somvar pate it will be better and easy and get down in other side at Subramanya.

Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better...
It was a great experience with my team WILD WALKERS. We had experienced with rare species of birds🐦🐥, snakes🐍, scorpions🦂 etc.. Beautiful different types of flowers🏵🌸🌷🌺, along with amazing landscape greenry🌎We started early morning from base point and reached within noon before sun shines 🔥.. We set up camp at forest check post.. And relaxed for the day.
We had carried sufficient food items.... It's better to carry some fruits, dry fruits these will minimize our thirsty No worries for water we will get water at forest check post anyhow we should carry required amount of water for the day. Next day we started early morning with permission from forest officers.. And managed to reach view point and enjoyed sunrise with beauty of nature.
Over all it was a awesome experience with loads of fun with Mother Nature

The most difficult trek in Karnataka. But worth the view. Camping experience in forest office was splendid.

It's a difficult trek but for trek lovers it's one of the best in Karnataka. Carry sufficient water and glucose as the one and only place is battermane which is around 6-7 KMS from the trek point. Scenic beauty is amazing.

It is not for the weak physique people, you gotta do your daily exercises to climb this or your muscles may tear due to constant pressure, overall great experience

Best place for experienced trekker, start early and go at your own pace. Listen to the trekking restrictions, don't play loud music in the forest.
Please don't litter and carry your own waste.

Amazing view point!
Forest department have laid down some concrete benches for us to sit, relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. We spent almost an hour sitting on the benches, resting our backs.
Its incredible, I would recommend everybody to come here, sit down and enjoy the view.

First view point is the first pleasant break a trekker can take... After a long trekking of 3-4 hours (this depends on individuals) that accounts for 7km. By this time most of our energy almost comes to nill. There's a relief place called bhattara mane, a only place where you get food and 5 x 2 feet place to sleep for around 250rs. Don't expect a delicious food but any how you'll be in a situation to eat anything as you will be exhausted and anything will be fine.
There's a forest check post 100 meters away from it where there is some flat land where trekkers camp here. There are lot of restrictions with which police allow you to put your tent here.
Trekkers leave early morning may be by 6 am to reach the peak of kumaraparvatha..

It's nice palace to go with friends . We have nearly 6 km of hiking for the first view where not even a single drop of drinking water will.

First view point is the base for every trekkers. Here only we will get food and shelter. It is at a distance of 7 km from kukke. Very tough to trek here. Bhatru mane and forest check post is only the places where we can do camping. In bhatru mane we will get food As per 2018 dec one meal at Rs120.Ladies can sleep inside the bhatru mane. Camping is allowed here. Sunrise sunset point is superb.

The toughest south trek ..but very beautiful place and worth going. I would recommend all the people who love trekking to go here.!

This is one of the best treks in Western Ghats, Karnataka. This trek never disappoints you with the view.
