5 star hospitality and service. The owner and his wife were warm and courteous from the minute I stepped in, even though the store was quite busy. I visited 3 jockey showroom’s in the city prior to this one opposite tycoon hotel, not a single manager/owner acknowledged me, not even a nod. The sales folk usually ran around frantically trying to sell you something or the other, not trying to understand what you actually want. None of the showrooms had the international collection code items I was looking for. The minute they realized they didn’t have it they were just unhelpful and dismissive. Some even trying to misguide you saying they were the only official store in town and I shouldn’t trust other stores.
Anyway I had time on my hands and decided to try another store.
This stores owners greeted me as soon as I entered, asked me what I was looking for, went through their inventory and found the products, made sure I got all the sizes I needed, and even went out of their way to source a certain product I wanted, which they didn’t have at their store.
On the contrary, the minute some of the other Jockey stores realized they didn’t have the product I wanted, they didn’t even offer directions or suggestions to the next store, let alone make a call and try to find where the item may have been available.
If you’re looking for a welcoming shopping experience at a jockey store, this is your best bet.
