Surprised to see so many negative reviews.This hospital has one if thebest star doctors in the whole state like Dr Kothari, Dr Vinay thorat , Dr Madhu asawa, Dr desai, Dr Bahulikar . Excellent teaching institute and very very ethical and transparent. What is lacking is perhaps the showroom effect of other corporate hospital. But belive me one of the most safe places to go if you have a health issue.

We visit probably hospital only for Dr madhu Asawa, I've been taking my parents and other family members to see Dr. Madhu at the cardiology opd for 8 yrs now. When you visit him, he will give you enough time to hear you out and will try to make you feel at ease rather than frightening you. The most crucial aspect is that Dr.Asawa always expresses an honest view. He only suggests inquiries that are truly essential. Additionally helpful and cooperative staff. Overall the hospital premises are generally well kept . Only problem is with ward boy mama staff. But i aam so comfortable with Dr asawa and he is also very particular with the staff and is nicely advising his juniors and staff how to take care of patient . I think because of doctors like him hospitals become famous and good.

Im surprised to see so much negative reviews. Despite poona hospital has best in class dr like Kothari sir in neuro, Vinay thorat sir as gastro and skillfull Cardiologist like Ishwar zanwar sir . May be hospital being a unavoidable mess for a ppl is the reason. As many Pt surely get best in class service but wont review here. Myself referred around 7-8 surgical pts here havent got negative review from those pt except 1. Undoubtly they have space for improvement . But as a dr i can say that poona hospital is at least 10% less costlier than counterparts . As much as possible Patients should first select their dr and then select hospital .

I have good experience with the hospital. My father is taking treatment from the same hospital since 2004. He doing perfectly fine. Correct diagnosis of every disease will be done. All specialists will be referred. Best thing about the hospital is proper hygiene is maintained. Also brother and sister are helpful. This review is about general ward and day care not sure about semi private and private ward. Talking about blood bank they will provide everything and won't ask for replacement unless there is shortage of blood. So overall I have best experience with the hospital so far.💯 But the only thing which is very annoying is discharge procedure take whole day to get completed.

I had an intricate pelvic surgery which lasted for 4.30 hours.I was operated by Oncosurgeon Dr Saurabh Mohite and General surgeon Dr Arun Fernandez. Indebitedly greatful to both of them , they are highly talented and skilled surgeons at PHRC. Thankful to Dr Sanjay Mutha anesthesia administering experience was not that scary as it thought to be. Lesson have learnt absolutely trust your doctors and don’t question them on the doubts you collect from Google reviews.

The only cons is the ward lobby is noisy and disturbs the patients

Excellent staff(sisters and doctors) and helpful . Total focus on patient health and 100% focus on quick recovery .
Management needs to be bit prompt and need more staff for better patient management.
Discharge process is slow.
Canteen is good but scope for increasing menu items is there.

Hospital service is good and has experienced staff and well trained in emergency cases and also soft spoken. Any type of emergency🆘 staff are quick and they transfer immediately to emergency room without wasting single moment. During admission intercath is softly put over here as compared to other hospitals. For intercath always prefer 20 long size so that it not pains. Over here all types of department are seen via cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, medical intensives, ENT, orthopedic, gastrology, surgeon and many more. All doctors are experienced and highly skilled. Care is taken of patients and they visit once or twice a day. Medical intensives to get updates within 12 hours. It's good hospital.

One of the best hospitals with efficient and skilled doctors. My mother was admitted in NICU for more than a week in a very critical condition. But grateful to the great team of doctor's like Dr. Vijay Ramanan, Dr. Sudhir Kothari and Dr. Ajit Tambolkar who saved my mother. Moreover, the credit also goes to Dr. Darshan at emergency who is so quick in his approach and always keep his team in toes, that my mother got the immediate attention and treatment.
