A great view of the waterfalls. You can have the view from the bridge near the falls and you must visit in monsoon to see a huge water in the falls. This is in the way of Dawki. The place is quite and good.

Borhill Falls: A Cinematic Masterpiece in Motion

Stepping into Borhill Falls is like entering a scene straight out of a fantasy movie. Sunlight filters through the emerald canopy, casting dappled shadows on the moss-covered rocks. The air is alive with the thunderous roar of water as it plunges over the cliff face, creating a mesmerizing curtain of liquid diamonds.

The camera pans across the rugged landscape, capturing the raw power and beauty of nature. A rainbow arcs across the spray, adding a touch of ethereal magic to the scene. Closer shots reveal intricate details – the smooth flow of water over polished rocks, the delicate ferns clinging to the cliff face, and playful fish flitting through the crystal-clear pools.

The soundtrack is a symphony of nature's sounds – the cascading water, the rustling leaves, and the chirping of birds. It seamlessly blends with the visual experience, creating a truly immersive and emotional journey.

Borhill Falls is not just a natural wonder; it's a cinematic masterpiece, waiting to be discovered.

The waterfall is by the roadside and visible while driving past. There are blocks kept to prevent people from going close to the falls but you can by-pass them easily. However you can only go upto a certain point and the bridge in front of it is closed off since it's broken in parts. The water flow is such that you'll get wet while going near the fall itself.

Borhill waterfall is a well-kept natural beauty that is tucked away in the East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya's lush green forests. The milky white waters of this waterfall, which cascades from a height of more than 500 feet, are awe-inspiring to see. It takes a moderately challenging climb to get to Borhill because of the enormous stones and thick vegetation surrounding it, but the effort is rewarding. The valley is shaken by the water's tremendous roar as it falls into the deep lake below. The natural splendor of Meghalaya is definitely worth seeing for nature enthusiasts and adventurers looking to get away from the throng. One of the state's most spectacular waterfalls is Borhill, despite being challenging to get because of its untamed, pure splendor.

So amazing place to go. Big and several step waterfall. After monsoon, it is really vast. This waterfall can be seen from Bangladesh part and known as Panthumai there. It is on the way to Mawlyngnong village. Not so much far from Dawki port. Great experience.

It's on our way from dawki lake towards Mawlynnong village. I am not sure about the name of this waterfall, but it is one of the best waterfalls we have seen during our meghalaya tour. As we visited at the end of May 2022 and the previous day had a huge rainfall, therefore the water level was at its fullest and the side by greenery was very pleasant.
We stopped our car nearby and couldn't resist ourselves to come out and enjoy this beautiful place. We also took some photos and videos.
A must visit to everyone. You won't regret it.

This is a falls which is directly going to Bangladesh after falling from the cliff and it is clearly visible from the steel bridge connecting the gorge in which the water from the roaring falls run below. Unfortunately, without any commonsense, please park the vehicle in the bridge itself obstructing the movement of traffic and also delay in reaching other destinations. There is enough place to stand on the bridge by parking the vehicle other than on this narrow bridge which can just accommodate a big vehicle at the most and two maruti cars to cross over. The sound is surely deafening and the view is really majestic. A ten minutes break from the tiresome hill curvy roads and good point for selfies and family photos.

The falls bordering Indo-Bangladesh border. Too much water. Talking there will be very tough due to noise from water. Visit there you will be able to visit open Indo-Bangladesh border at Dawki, Meghalaya. This is available on way to Dawki river visit. This waterfall is seeding river Dawki which is known to be cleanest river. We can't spend much time over waterfall bridge as it may get you wet from it's sprinkle breeze. Just awesome. Must visited place.

Visited in end of April. It is a majestic cascading waterfall on the way to/from Dawki. On the other side, bangladesh border fence can be seen. Its a narrow road and bridge, so keep a watch for any speeding vehicles while clicking pictures. No dedicated space for parking, but quick halt can be taken. Also, dont miss the tiger shaped rock next to the bridge.
There is one more small waterfall with the same name towards Dawki .

Very important stop on the way from Shnongpdeng to Mawlynnong Cleanest village in Asia. One can stop half an hour and view at the majestic force of the waterfall. It is advised to not to go near the waterfall and one can have an awesome view from the road itself. This waterfall is one of the largest i have seen.

What a beautiful and scenic waterfall. Just along the road tons of water is flowing creating a breathtaking beauty.
You just can't pass by without having a stop and take some mesmerizing photos. This place is really an Instagram-worthy waterfall to visit in Dawki.
There is no way to go to the bridge bottom. However, it will be extremely risky to go down as the flow velocity of the fall is very high
