Hazrat Shahjalal (Rh) is a famous preacher in both Sylhet and Bangladesh. This place is his graveyard. There are a lot of Tomb of his followers.

One of the most  attractive things about this place is the pigeon. Besides, there are a lot of Big Fish.

Shahjalal (Arabic: شاه جلال; 1271 – 1341) was a famous Sufi dervish of the Indian subcontinent. His full name is Sheikh Shah Jalal Kuniyat Mujarrad. It is believed that he came to the Sylhet region of present-day Bangladesh with the aim of propagating Islam at the age of 32 in 1303 AD according to 703 Hijri.

Hazrat Shahjalal (ra) Mazar.. the shrine and burial place of the 14th century Muslim saint  located in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The site, known as a Dargah, was originally constructed c. 1500..Shah Jalal was a sufi saint traditionaly accredited with the Muslim consequent of Sylhet  as well as the propagation of Islam in the region..

Sylhet is one of the most famous places in the city. Shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA). Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) was Allah Ali. Islam first entered Sylhet through Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and Hazrat Shahparan (RA). They were uncle and cousin. Here Muslim men and women come and visit their graves or shrines. [However, special care should be taken here, that one cannot ask anything from the graves of Allah's saints] Here there is a separate prayer system for men and women. It has become a tourist attraction. So I would suggest to visit here at least once.

Most famous shrine in the country where you can find your peace, The shrine is well maintained, calm peaceful, pigeon danching around. If you're in Sylhet then you should visit the shrine.

January 2023 was the last visit. The Muslim saint Shah Jalal is buried there and has a shrine dedicated to him. Though throughout the ensuing centuries, numerous extensions and modifications were made to its basic construction, which dates back to 1500. It developed as a regional hub for religion. Among the many uses for the vast surrounding compound are four mosques, a public cemetery, and a religious school. Right now, the Dargah is Bangladesh's biggest and busiest holy site.

Visited Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar on a peaceful Sunday. Surprisingly, fewer crowds, well-maintained grounds which enhanced the spiritual experience. A significant place for the Muslim community. 🕊🕌

Most of the time I go to Shahjalal Mazar with my family. This is an honorable place for our Sylhet. We can proudly say we are from Sylhet. People from different districts come here to visit the shrine. Fridays are especially busy. Welcome to all who come here.

Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar Sharif in Sylhet is a beautiful and holy site that is dedicated to one of the most respected and revered saints in the region. The Mazar Sharif is a grand and impressive structure, with intricate architecture and ornate decorations. The atmosphere around the Mazar Sharif is one of peace and reverence, and it is clear that it holds a special place in the hearts of the local community. We enjoyed exploring the complex and learning about the history and significance of the Mazar Sharif. The devotees were very friendly and welcoming and gave us insight about the life of Hazrat Shahjalal. Overall, it was a deeply meaningful and enriching experience and we would recommend it to anyone interested in exploring the spiritual side of Sylhet.

It's a holy place for muslims. Most popular place in sylhet city. You will get a different vibe here. Basically it’s a Shrine.

You will get a lot of hotel near this dargah with different prices. Please keep this place clean and be respectful to peoples belief.

It is now one of the tourist spot in Shylet. But actually it is a mosque with a Mazar sharif. Hazrat shahjalal was a person who came to shylet and spread the muslim many years ago back. From that time the mosque was situated.
But it is not only a beautiful place for muslim but also other hindu's or other religion people also come here to pray in the mazar sharif.
The place is beautiful. There are lots of pigeon's here. In the morning it looks amazing.

MashAllah beautiful place. A very important place for all the Muslims. But all religion's people visit the place. People go there to do jeyarot of the grave(mazar) of shah jalal. One of the most important things here is the jalali kobutor and the fish.

Travelling to Mazar Sharif was memorable experience. Everything is organised and well managed. I enjoyed this tour. In future I will visit more tourists attractions of Sylhet.

Sylhet is called 360 Auliar Country, but I'm disappointed after see this place. Majar puja now common in this place. If you're a Muslim then you have to avoid majar puja. But it's a great place to visit and also know about Islamic history.
