La Kupar Inn

Currently staying at this hotel and absolutely loving it! The interior decor is stunning, and the staff are incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the garden area is beautifully maintained. All the amenities I need are readily available.

Interestingly, when speaking with the owner, they modestly described the hotel as 'normal' with basic facilities. However, my experience has been far beyond expectations in terms of cleanliness and amenities.

Very beautiful stay. This hotel has very big rooms attached with a balcony and it is amazing. The place is amazing , we enjoyed alot in their big reception area. We made reels and there were lot of place in the reception area for everyone to have fun. The food was amazing. They have chessboard, Bank, ludo , and lots of other board games to enjoy with friends. Had very beautiful experience here.

The location was scenic. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff were polite and prompt in their service. The food was very good and sumptuous. The charges for the same were very reasonable. highly recommend.

Stayed in La Kupar Inn on the 11th of December. A very homely stay and the hospitality of the owner Mr.Banson was incredible. Loved the place and the ambience. Would recommend this Inn for a nice stay in Cherapunnji.

One of the best homestays I have ever stayed.. The pleasure of staying here was fabulous. The home has been well maintained. The breathtaking natural scenery and the warm hospitality of the host will immediately put you at ease the moment you step foot on the property. We 6 adults having 3 kids spent a great time together. I was absolutely mind blown by the beauty of this home stay. Staff is friendly and joyous. Pretty little lights here and there. Loved the coffee. View from the room was just wow. Living room has it's own charm. They didn't have a three bedded room but they prepared a proper bed for the three of us.. (not mattress only like most hotels do with a three people group), which is thoughtful. The garden was pretty too. Beautiful property. Well maintained, clean, pretty. Highly recommend for your next visit to Sohra.

An amazing place to stay in Cherrapunji. The rooms are very well maintained and spacious. The common area is very beautiful and looks like a the common space of any modern hostel that you can imagine (although this place is a homestay). I didn’t get a chance to taste their food, but the tea and coffee that they served was good. The owner is a very nice man and will do everything to make you comfortable.

In short, this is a place worth spending your hard earned money at!

Amazing location , serene place . Food is delicious and many NE cuisines in the menu. John was nice at the front desk and helped with all details needed.very close to many scenic points as well . Abs recommendations for the place if need to stay in sohra.

A wonderful homestay/resort in Sohra/Cherrapunji. Wonderful ambience and rooms are simple yet clean. Good supply of hot water. Breakfast was good and simple. Wasn't too happy with the dinner though. They have good varieties of non veg but vegetarians might not have many good options. The staff is very polite and were always happy to help with a smile on their face. Will definitely recommend this place for a peaceful stay during your visit to Cherrapunji.

We - a group of four senior citizens stayed here for two nights. Our rooms were on the first floor. Mr Bansan the owner and Mr John the Manager are very polite and helpful. Due to their warm attitude, we had a much more happy stay here. Dinner was a bit spicy so one has to inform about required taste. All the assisting staff were of smiling and helpful nature. Mr John showed us the local market and is a very reliable person. I was glad I met such a resourceful person. I would certainly love to visit again

We reached a day early due to shedule changed all rooms were booked but manager John helped us to get a room in a good home stay near by also explain all local sightseeing spots with a printed map..we checked in as shedule rooms were clean. We went to double Decker Bridge. Since we started early at 6 am. we were provided packed breakfast. When we were back from double Decker Bridge we got pack lunch from a restaurant. The owner had visited he immediately called the guys to get plates spoons etc to make us comfortable. Overall a good experience....

Experience:
Very good experience. Good ambiance and service. Staff is friendly, jolly and very helpful. Went there with family.

We enjoyed board games kept in their hall.
Campus is beautiful and maintained.

Food:
Food is good and tasty. This was the first time we had good dinner in Meghalaya after 3 days.

Staff:
Staff is very punctual and care takings.
They gave hand drawn map for us and explained about double root bridge.
Since we’re leaving they packed sandwiches for us before their usual breakfast timing

Improvement:
• Lunch facilities can be provided.
• [knit picking] In breakfast bread was already toasted and it got cold, lady should have asked/waited for us to come down. However she helped with re-heating 😊

What an amazing homestay it is.
Me and my wife went out and picked this as our honeymoon destination in Cherrapunji around Sohra.
Everything was so nice about this property,the people in this property.
I had gone through a severe throat pain, however John,one of the managers over there made sure to consult a Doctor on Sunday evening and get the requisite medicines for me. We are ever grateful to them for their amazing hospitality and specially their humbling nature.
I will definitely visit this place over and again for sure.

This place is awesome. We visited this place and asked the owner for the room. They were very friendly and provided the room at a very reasonable price.

1. Room condition were great.

4. John, who is manager there was super supportive. He helped us with our itinerary and was kind enough to tell us each and every details we asked for. Once you visited this place, do ask for John and your trip will be sorted :)
5. This place is located in the city and most of the places that you want to visit is nearby.

If you find the room availability, just go for it.

Everything was perfect about the stay at this property..the ambience , room size and the facilities all were up to the mark. Water heater /geyser everything was in excellent condition. Moreover the owner and the manager are excellent persons. The food was extremely tasty. All in all a great choice at reasonable rates.

Had a great stay. Definitely a place you would like to stay in. Rooms are big and comfy. Staff are really sweet and helping. I'll definitely recommend you to stay here. If there was a option to give 10 star , I would have given that. For now I'll give you my 5 star and a promise to be back soon.

Lovely place. One of my favourite stays in Meghalaya. Surrounded my spacious lawns and greenery, the location is great. The rooms are spacious and have a lovely attached balcony. The food is some of the best I had as well. The chocolate pancakes especially. The staff is great too. Would definitely recommend it.

It's a beautiful inn in the town of Sohra. The hotel staff are very welcoming and tend to your needs well. Breakfast and dinner is available as per your needs. I truly recommend everyone to stay there as it is also accessible to nearby taxi stand and restaurants. My stay there was for 2 nights and it was well worth it.
