It is a wonderful place. You will get best experience while visiting it. Migrating birds are the best in this place besides the beauty of the lake. Road is not fine for journey. But we can't notice that inconvenience by watching the beauty of peaceful and beautiful kolleru lake. We can also do boating here with their permission. You should visit it atleast once, because I'm sure you will definitely revisit it again and again if you visit it once. That's the attraction of the kolleru lake

One of the best bird sanctuary..It will good for bird sightseeing... photography....if started to watch bird it is one of the best experience Vista birds sanctuary in crystal clear water body of 245 Kms in Kolleru lake. Migratory birds is an epic that visit every Autumn season. Rich fauna and flora in its vicinity. Try boating if interested and must visit temple called Peddintlamma temple. Create your own space in it and have a spectacular visit.

It's close to Eluru 25 kms drive ... There is a broken side road which takes you to the spot ... ₹10 for entry and ₹100 for camera... When we were there there was less water in the lake so no boat trips were on... Had to take in the sites from a distance... Luckily had a camera with decent zoom so could click a few snaps... Would have been amazing if we could go on the boats... Worth a visit anytime but after Feb the flocks fly away.. Dec to Feb would be ideal...
