Karikulam Hanging Bridge

Karikulam hanging bridge is situated enroute chinnar dam and chokkana. Bridge is not in Good condition and stepping on seems scary , but is used by visitors . Small stream near by to take bath. Hop on at your own risk. There are multiple hanging bridges in the same route, which used to cross the stream. The area is frequently visited by elephants.

This is not a tourist spot. This is a private property used to carry goods especially rubber woods. You may have to get permission to get inside. Cold water flowing under the hanging bridge and surrounded by rubber trees makes this place more magical. Also be careful you can see leeches on water banks.

Chokana is a forest edge village located in Varantharapilly panchayat east of Kotali near Kodakara in Thrissur district of Thrissur Kerala.
This village, which was not famous on the tourism map of Kerala until recently, has recently become a favorite among tourists through social media.
The sheep bridges built during the British era are one of the main attractions here. Rainy season is best to visit.

It's really hard to find out the place because there is no location board or something it's inside a rubber plantation. Google map will helps better, and no need to take tickets to enter bridge is old one so walks carefully no security measures

Its one of the best spots to visit in Chokkana.
