Well planned and maintained airport to go to , starting from the arrival, departure area to car parking and the space around is so well planned and executed in this fully solar powered airport. Spacious interiors, clean, with digiyatra enabled,. They do have a plethora of shops and eateries, and lounges too. Their gates have one of the largest waiting area with the most comfortable seating in any airport in India.

Used this service at a late night arrival at CIAL, great and friendly staff greeting you at the counter, hassle free service in booking, in 5 mins the taxi driver is waiting for you at a dedicated point, all details of driver and car in the payment invoice. The road right outside the airport is also provided and maintained by the airport and it itself is a sight of wonder. And the entire airport functions on solar power, which is a first for me. There are a wide variety of shops which serve food items as well as items for shopping. The airport staff are very helpful and courteous. The bathrooms are rely very neat and clean. One can easily find the boarding gates and many symbols and big screens are there to point out your flight details. The seating arrangement is beautiful with intricate glass and wooden designs.

This is the first fully solar powered Airport in the world. The Domestic and International Terminals are near to each other. A few restaurants are there in the premises. Prepaid taxi is available.
