This is located in Ernakulam district and there is a hanging bridge that leads to thumboormozhibdam in Thrissur district.

We can have so much fun in the river associated .

Ezhattumugham has many walking paths, campgrounds, and palm oil farms. It has recently become the location of many movie sets, in part due to the beauty of the Chalakudy river.

The entry fee is Rs 10 per head; parking fee is Rs 20 and for camera it cost Rs 100. A hanging bridge (Thumboormuzhi) and a garden is part of the project. The hanging bridge is the highlight of the spot. A walk through it seeing Chalakudy river flows under it is a serene experience.

11.8km away from the Cochin International Airport is the small but magnificent village of Ezhattumugham. It is known for its Thumboormozhi dam and oil palm plantation. This village in Ernakulam, Kerala has been promoted as a tourism vilage known as Prakriti Gramam (Nature Village).

It is also known for the hanging bridge, specially constructed to enhance the experience of entering Ezhattumugham's serene and calming parks.
Ezhattumugham is a pristine rural village in the district of Ernakulam.

The name derives from the seven streams that are formed in the Chalakudy river due to islets and boulders that are present in the river. Prakriti Gramam is a tourist park built by the government to woo tourists here. The calm gentle flowing river takes a ferocious form but compared to the good olden days, the change in weather is something to ponder on.

The monsoon rains bring more water to the river yet it lasts for not more than a week. It transforms the region into lush and greenery, which is the time to visit the place. This beautiful park is just 22 km away from Angamaly.

The journey through the palm plantations is a sight to behold. The roads unfortunately are not well maintained. You can enjoy visiting erumadam (tree house), dam and gardens on the way. There is also a butterfly park and a suspension bridge in Thumboormuzhi . The famous Athirapalli waterfalls lies just 14 km away. Water theme parks like ‘Dreamworld’ and ‘Silver storm’ are also not far away.

Located on the way to Athirappilly Waterfalls. Hanging bridge and the chalakudy river flowing beneath forming mini waterfalls are the main attractions here. You can walk till the other end of the bridge beyond which it's Thumboormuzhi Butterfly Park where you need separate tickets for entry. Can spend about 1 hour here. Worth visiting.!

Beautiful place...!! You can't enter into the river now as the water level is high due to monsoon.. But still you can enjoy with family.. Kids park.. Butterfly park.. Snacks, food ice cream tea coffee n all is available inside..
Remember, not to irritate the monkey's as they get very aggressive.

Good place for a one day trip. For an adult entry fee was 20 and 10 for kids, parking facilities are available.

It's a good place for Hangout with friends and family. Good place for photograph and good atmosphere. Ticket charge are too less for the entry. Beautiful location. Friendly staffs and everything is well maintained

This is a very peaceful place. With family we can spend time there. Awesome place and neat and clean. Nature beauty, greenish, waterfalls, and the smell of forest, sounds of water flow these are complained. The kids enjoyed it very well. Good parking area.

Its a place where the natures beauty is seen at its best... A place on th way to athirapalli waterfalls... Those who r going this way shoud definitely check out this place.. A hanging bridge above the river stream with breathtaking view of mountains and places gives it an elegant spot for nature lovers and the common people... There is a child park at the end of the bridge(extra ticket has to be taken)

It's a nice place to visit during the holidays. Good atmosphere good natural surroundings with famous chalakudy river flowing at its full glory. The flow of the water in the river was more. Good place with neatly maintained surroundings. Arranged beautifully. Good ambience. Play area for the kids. The hanging bridge which is a main attraction of the place connects two ends across the river. There are two entrances on both sides of the river. The rate of tickets is 20 for adults and 30 for the car. Decent parking area. A good place in total which common people can offer and enjoy the beautiful nature. The way to reach is through a plantation. The entrance of the place there is a checkpost where the number of cars and name of driver is noted. Good place in all. Wow, a great place where you can take your family. They will enjoy their time here. We visited this place on our way to Athirapilly. The place is maintained very well and is surrounded by beautiful nature. The employees are friendly. There is a children park, small water fountain. There is also a small restaurant inside. I recommend this place.

The Ambience and landscape here is fantastic. The nature will calm you down

Best place to be with family and friends, a place with natural beauty, blend of nature and engineering. Hanging bridge is nice , one can spend few hours in river in summer times , but one need to be careful before getting into river as some place are very slippery and very deep. In rainy session it’s very dangerous to get into water. They only charge ₹10 per person for entry and ₹20 for parking car.

This place is fabulous and must visit. minimal trek efforts too. It was a wonderful experience...greenery and gurgling water is a peaceful music to ears, so enchanting. The hanging bridge is the main attraction. We paid 50/- for 2 people and you can walk over the bridge. Visited on a weekday to avoid too much crowd!

Very very beautiful place….the pics are of the hanging bridge…. Cud not click more pics as it suddenly started raining…. There is a beautiful butterfly garden here…. Should visit this place once to enjoy n be vth the nature….n if u r lucky enough you will be able to spot some wild animals on the way ….. I spotted a mumma elephant vth her baby elephant crossing…. Was not able to click them…nxt time hope to be more lucky

Nice place to enjoy with your family , there is a small entry fee and also parking fee as well, water is typically low during summer, there is also a beautiful suspension bridge where you can have some fun walking through
