Ap high court is well designed with 23 court halls, all halls with centralized AC with quality and modern infrastructure. I think there will be no high court is in this design in India, but situated in a distance of nearly 30 kms from Vijayawada. Even canteen also having AC. Really loved Andhra Pradesh High Court

Very well maintained. Everything is followed well. I went for Bar Council enrolment the staff is very good and guided really well. I thought it will take lot of time. But they have very good process to complete it smooth. The court premises looks good. AP is separated state but still we have some good infrastructure and one such is High court.

Unique experience being at high court of Andhra Pradesh at Amravathi.
I went along with a familiar advocate. Journey seems to be very long from Vijayawada specially the main bridge near gudi was closed, we have to go through vaarthi bridge. Another reason for distance was due to the road leading till the court was narrow. Best part in the journey is the amazing Swiss like green pasture and hilly mountains covered with clouds. It was really energetic hectic environment.
Once you reach at your destination there is wide parking area. Government has also provided bus service up to the high court from major bus stands.
We then walk some distance and reach at the entrance point. For advocates there is separate entrance and visitors and people with cases have to take security token to enter in the high court premises.
Security staffs were sharp and have good coordination with each other and even educate each other when they found any lapses within them. Though getting token was slow process but got it done manually, I think over hear government can make it automated y making use of the aadhaar card and letting it print the needed information as a slip. Got inside the huge premise which was constructed on temporary basis. Surprisingly to me it looks like a permanent structure with good art of work and even the type of material used seems to be high standards.
As soon as you enter you will see Mahatma Gandhi’s big embedded statue in the wall. In this area all visitors mostly having their cases in the court seems to trolling in this open space. We then walked to the BAR association area where you can see entire area flooded with black dresses, came out from other end to take snacks. We later walked around the area and all over I have noticed big bags containing cases that were shifted to Amravathi.
Overall there are 15 Courts in the premises and are located in upper 2 floors.
Initially we went to first floor and entered in one court. Before entering in the court there is screen displayed outside listing the cases running as of that day. Also, a list is hanging at knob with the daily cause list. Inside the court room it was pin drop silence, and once again I see only black dress i.e. Advocates inside the court room. It was totally different appearance compared to the lower courts. All the courts that I went inside have similar appearance and not a single petitioner or respondent have noticed.
Finally I moved to 2nd floor, over here there is court no.1. Specialty about this court is the court space is much wide and there were 2 judge’s sitting. Once of them is our honorable chief judge.
I have taken some snaps over the top of the surrounding areas and also the main entrance and the parking area. After coming out then we went to canteen which is quite nearby.
Excellent experience, by visiting our high court in Amaravathi. I was also hearing rumors that the high court will be sifted to elsewhere. In my view rather doing this way I think it is much better to concentrate on the present layout which is also geographically located in the center of Andhra Pradesh.

High court has gone digital so the cases can be reviewed online under hc.ap.nic.in
Provision given to check the status and also look the daily cause list that shows the cases run daily and also the advance list. Much more options available in the website available for public.

Recently, I have been to High Court Amravathi, compared to earlier visit this time reached in very short time. I took the road in front of CBN demolished house. No doubt CBN has chosen awesome location beside Krishna bed. It is very fascinating location. Once you cross the Krishna barrage then take a right turn that leads to the high court. Though road is narrow but the shortest and fastest rout to the high court.

The High Court is located at Nelapadu, a neighbourhood of Amaravati. It is a G+2 structure which has 23 halls that spread over an area of 2.2 lakh sqft. It was built in 4 acres with a cost of 157.3 crore. This building was constructed by Larsen & Toubro Limited.

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh was established in the year 1954 when the state was formed from the earlier Madras Presidency. After the merger of the Hyderabad State with Andhra State to form the State of Andhra Pradesh, the Court initially continued at Guntur till 1956.

This is the High Court of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The seat of the High Court is currently located at Amaravati. However decided and passed a bill in the state legislature to shift the principle seat of High Court to Kurnool.

One of the best building for a high court in India. Even though, far from Vjy and Guntur, it's very spacious building. Observed no development in transportation since 3 years.
