It is a very peaceful and beautiful place. It is located at the bank of river Krishna. It has a lawn also. The entry fee is 20 rupees per person. You will experience a very natural feeling away from the city. The street leading to the dhyana budda statue is very narrow and can barely fit two small cars side by side so while going there you will face some trouble. The parking is available and is big. The statue is very big. If you want perfect and laminated photos there are photographers available there at the statue. If you want to go bird watching there will be many birds here.

This Dhyana Buddha statue is situated on the Bank of River Krishna. It's a pleasant and refreshing place. Under the Buddha statue there is a spiritual stupas which tells about the life of the Gautham Buddha.its a historical place and kids can know about the gautham Buddha's life history. It's an educational and enjoyable place. Entry ticket :20 rupees (it may increase or reduce in future?)

Wondeful place to learn about Buddhism... One has to pay to enter this place, which i believe is fine and goes towards maintaining this place including monuments and garden. Good photostop and once in a life time experience of such gigantic Buddha in Dhyan Mudra 🧘‍♂

Such a beautiful place it was.. this place had seen great development since 2011, the first time I saw.. it has been developed as a great Buddhist site attracting many tourists from across the world.. I had a great experience from this place.. it had a great history and had been a beautiful historical resource.. amaravati consists of 2 museums with a stupa and this big statue is few mts away from those museums.. experience it by yourself soon! The space inside the statue is beautiful too..

The place is one of the most peaceful place I've ever seen and been to. Situated at the banks of Krishna River, this statue can be seen from a pretty long distance. The light projections during the evening make the statue and the surrounding extraordinary. The shrine is comprised of various artworks which include inscriptions of Buddha and his disciples.

Great transformation is there at the site opposite to the Buddha statue. When we visited some 6 years back, my car was parked in vacant place opposite to the statue. Now one beautiful park was constructed with aestetic designs.
