Shree Kaal Bhairav Temple

It is said that Kashi Vishwanath visit isn't complete without visiting Kaal Bhairav temple. It's located around 2 km away from the main temple and it's recommended to visit early as it may get crowded after 8 am as it's a popular temple. We did a tour of all the important temples including this one at around 5-6 and found the temples very much empty so very convenient to visit.

Your darshan cannot be fully filled if you do not visit kaal bhairav baba in Banaras. One of the go to places.

Visited this temple after 9PM so it was very easy to get the darshan as it was not at all crowded.
As per the history of the temple, Baba Kaal Bhairav is the Kotwal (Chief Police Officer) of all the creation and city of Kashi (Varanasi). This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the oldest temple of Lord Shiva.
The temple is located in a narrow by lanes and bit away from the main temple, Kadhi Vishwanath if you go by foot.
Better to visit it late night or early morning to avoid long queues and have a better darshan experience of Kaal Bhairav.
