As soon as I witnessed the icy peaks from a distance on the way to Cafe Buransh, I knew in my heart that my partner and I were headed for something extraordinary.

When we reached our destination after a long journey, things started to fall into place like a magical ripple effect. I'm being entirely honest when I say there's beauty, purity, and smiles everywhere.

Our hosts, Mahadevan, Rakeshji, and Ritik, although young in age, possessed profound wisdom and experience in hosting in the mountains. They managed the entire place so wonderfully, leaving me inspired by their proactive nature and sincere care for their guests.

The food was phenomenal and highly nutritious. This was the first trip where I managed to maintain my nourishment.

The rooms are clean, spacious and fits right into its natural surroundings. The cafe is warm and well-maintained, and there's a ton of positive energy to absorb from this place and its location. The view cannot be described in words. It's meant to be witnessed and felt. And so, I made a promise to return because there's so much this place offers!

Cafe Buransh has my heart! We had such a great time there ; the hospitality , the food and the pristine surroundings were outstanding. It's very rare to find a place that feels like home and Buransh was definitely that for us!

For trekkers, Cafe Buransh will be best place to stay. The folks are very friendly and we were taken care so well. My daughter fell sick and they proactively cooked some light food for her which helped in her quick recovery. We enjoyed the evening gathering at the restaurant and were served delicious food. Many thanks to Chef Rakesh. Should also thank Randeep and Appu for always keeping us so comfortable and happy. Thanks to Rithvik for the great room service. My family had a great time! A lovely place located at a beautiful village nestled in the mountains, away from the crowded road of the major tourist locations.
Would recommend staying for at least 2-3 days or more to do justice to the experience. You can plan nearby treks and darshans from this base too. The rooms are clean, well maintained and spacious and the staff is absolutely prompt. Food is cooked fresh and you will get to try local pulses and vegetables too.
Highly recommended this place for staycations, work getaways or even a family trip. Go for a weekend, the longer the better and enjoy the quiet, the hikes and nature.

We have stayed at Cafe Buransh few times over the past 5 years. Super friendly staff and Hosts, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are Top Notch set in the local pahari Decor theme.

The food served is sumptuous and made with love. The property is located about 400 meters on the Deoria Tal trail. certainly the best property to put in the area.

The location of the place offers endless options for day hikes , spotting local wildlife.

To say the least, Cafe Buransh is an experience. It has been maintained very well and the way the team provides you services and comfort is pretty amazing. The views are breathtaking from any place from here. It is en-route to Deoria Tal trek which means for nature lovers it is just stepping out and you can choose any trail to be with your family/friends/yourself. I have visited this place more than once and always long to be there one more time. Team is very sensitive about nature and cleanliness of mountains. It is always a pleasant and engaging conversation with them. It has a small library but perfect arrangement to sit and enjoy time with oneself. Hope to be there soon... yet another time. :)

An amazing pahadi experience! This was my second time in Cafe Buransh, which us located in the beautifully quaint village of Saari a few metres from the Deoriatal trek route. They have pleasant and clean rooms with rustic looks resembling a vintage pahadi home, equpped with heaters for winters in case you feel too cold. The thing that makes it such a good place to stay, are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and warm which makes one feel you are home, i have to specially mention Rajani for her hospitality and Rakesh bhai for his yummy food...Rakesh bhai made Kerala chicken curry knowing that i am from Cochin!!!
Thanks for making our visit to Saari that much better, will come back for sure!

Cafe Buransh is the best place you can stay in the Himalayan village of Sari. It is a great place to enjoy the Himalayas, including a trek to the Devaria Lake.

Cafe bura msg was amazing. The bhang chutney they gave was among the classics. Rooms at lower level are not good.

My wife and I stayed at Cafe Buransh for 3 nights in the last week of December 2020. We had a wonderful experience. Rajani and her team made sure that our stay was warm and comfortable. They were always around for any help and suggestions. Room, food and overall service were all quite good. The location of the place is fantastic!

Awesome experience . Rajani and her team ( Rakesh & Hanuman ) are very friendly and helpful. The feel of this place with incredible views are a bonus. Very homely ambience with good tasty pahadi food adds to the overall comfort . Good guide for trek to Deoria Tal and Tunganath was arranged . If you are fond of mountain stay then this is the place.

Albeit the fact that this review is being written 9 months after our brief yet cute trip to Uttarakhand, the scenes race vividly through my mind. Such is the everlasting imprint of our stay in Cafe Buransh with family and friends.
Located midway uphill towards Deoria Tal from the quaint village of Sari, It would be apt to describe it as "Trishanku Swargam" with stars right above our heads.
Surrounded by lush green fields with bright yellow blooms, this homestay offers surreal views of the mountains that one can never have enough of.
The perfect spot with easy access to Deoria Tal, Chopta and Tungnath.
High above the hills, the Buransh team makes sure you feel at home and offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.
The eco-friendly homestay has been thoughtfully designed to provide a relaxed ambience to connect to oneself and nature as well. The homemade organic food was delicious and suited the cold weather. The library and board games cater to recreational needs. The dogs are friendly and a bonus to pet lovers.
Cafe Buransh let us experience "pahadi" life with all the basic amenities. A tranquil place to switch off from the routine buzz. Overall we loved staying here and would recommend to all trekkers planning a trip to that area.

Cafe Buransh is so far the best place I have stayed in my Uttarakhand trip. It's located in this amazingly untouched place called Saari village. The rooms are beautifully made and the best was that its got the whole organic look. It's made with mud and organic stuff which actually helps in keeping the room warm during the cold winters. I was truly amazed by the entire architecture. Also that it's on the trekking route for Deoriatal which is definitely a location to be visited. Also the helpers, Rakesh and Hanumant are incredible guys who welcomed us with soo much love and they were just really nice people personally. I spent a beautiful new years Eve, thanks for hosting us cafe Buransh. Had a lovely time here, a 10/10 for sure :)
