SnowPod

Sipping on some masala chai while cozying up with your loved ones as it snows outside is my idea of a good time and we got to do this while visiting Chopta. We stayed at this really pretty looking resort called Snowpod. The pictures available on the internet doesn't do justice to the beautiful scenery that surrounds this resort. I booked an igloo for us that stay in. We were in for a surprise as none of us had ever stayed in an accommodation like this and what a pleasant surprise it was. The room is really cozy and you get a really welcoming vibe. Also a note to the fellow travellers who are reading this, please for the love of God bring the most heavy duty jacket that you own as it gets really cold at night. This resort is also really close(like 10 mins) to the temple which is the winter abode of Lord tungnath. I for one am not really a religious person but it's nice to see the evening puja especially when you have been coerced by your husband into attending one. All in all a lovely experience. 5 stars.

The surrounding areas include nelong valley, at, local warungs providing coffee (grown there) and simple meals. There are easy and harder hikes that are great to do early in the day and the views are stunning.
This place is out of the way, book one of their lovely drivers to pick you up from anywhere in The valley as they know the area best.

I have travelled to many places in the hills but never received such great service at such prices.

Well before going to this place, I thought why everyone is giving 5 star to this place, they might be there internal staff only, but after visiting this place, I can't afford to stop myself by giving 5 star to this place. My kids enjoyed a lot at this place. Staff was superb, Service was flawless. Food was amazing and I can't stop myself to recommend this place to others. Manager Deepak was so kind and calm, so co-operative person and I never heard NO from his mouth for anything. Everything I want was available there.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the natural beauty and stunning valleys that surrounded the property. The location was truly breathtaking, and I found myself in awe of the picturesque scenery every day of my stay.

The accommodations were equally impressive. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the attention to detail in the design and decor was impressive. I must mention the activities and amenities offered at your resort. There were so many opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty and valleys, from hiking trails to guided tours. I appreciated the variety of options available and found that there was always something new to discover and enjoy. The breathtaking view is always an awww feeling which was the best part each time. The entire crew from the resort were very helpful. Even though we has a large group of 24, they took care of all the requirements with smile on their face. Loved staying there for three days while trekking.

The pods are beautiful with the great mountain view. We were expecting snowfall but this year we missed it. The stay is comfortable, and they have heaters and geysers which is a plus in chopta.

Beautiful and pleasant place to stay with your family and friends. Their concept of Igloo type Snow Pods is very unique and interesting. These Pods are very comfortable with all the amenities provided. We went there in the last week of Feb'23 and had a wonderful stay there. Their room service and food quality is awesome.

The only reason I've given 4* in rooms is because it looks like since the time they've been built no renovation has been done. Whichever glass is broken is broken, they've put brown tape on it which looks very bad. When you visit such places you tend to take pictures and it all looks very bad.

Cottages and Igloos are placed properly. Strong enough to sustain heavy winds, View is mesmerizing. You can enjoy your stay peacefully.

Beautiful property with the igloos being the highlight of our stay. Unique accommodations and the services they provide are the best in the area. Food is pretty good but only Indian cuisine available. Comfortable stay and warm staff. Would recommend their guptkashi property if looking for the snowpeaks mountain view
