Mangalagiri Eco Park

Good place for trekking, carry water bottles with you, because there are no shops available in the top mountain. The difficulty level is moderate, so no worries.

In 2015, the then-state government approved to setting up of the first hill eco-park in Mangalagiri and 20 hectares of land was extracted under the Nagaravanam programme from Mangalagiri Tadepalli reserved forest area, developed parks, and plantation in the area.

Apart from providing lung space to the public, the main objective of this eco-park is to educate and create awareness regarding forests and the environment among pilgrims visiting the temple. However, due to a lack of proper maintenance in the following years, the eco-park was neglected. But in the past two years, the development works gained pace, as the State government allotted Rs 1.2 crore funds.

Along with a children's play area and park, a 2.8 km-long walking track was constructed around the hill, and two trekking routes were set up. In order to attract more tourists from both Guntur and Vijayawada cities, the officials have set up adventurous sports, including zip lining and bungee jumping.

It's very nice to visit this place..it's full of greenary with fresh n cool breezes. Still more to develop. It's better to arrange a cop at wooden deck view point for safety purpose. Management should maintain some strict rules to avoid plastic in this area. Should give respect to other people who are around..some young guys using unnecessary languages like their public place. Risking their own life's taking pictures by sitting on hand rails(pic attached). I hope and request for proper care.

Best eco place for families and friends. Good environment with natural pleasant air, Kids amusements are there for children. We can go for trekking.

Must visit park for nature lovers...As soon as you enter the park you will experience cool breeze with fresh air..there is a way for trekking as well and hidden view point...Do visit in early morning to enjoy the climate there.

Nice Nature place for visitors, children and daily walkers.
Having open Jym, children play ground and trekking with view points is there which is around 3km.

Lot of facilities are created & adding more & more, we can enjoy nature & fresh air, day by day more facilities for conducting small parties/ kitty parties. Recently canteen opened.
