Children's Park, Kollam

A quiet, calm, and peaceful place equipped with a lot of amusements, especially for children. The place is neat and there are a lot of places to sit and relax. Ideally, it's a perfect place for parents and children but others can also enter. Ticket price is 24 for adults and 12 for children. One can spend nearly 3 hours with it. It can be a bit crowded during evenings and weekends.

I went to this place alone just for the ambience and I found it to be quiet fruitful. I even watched a movie in out of the shades they made to sit or lie down for rest. Really good place for parents and children to play. They have made the roads inside to simulate roads outside for children to cycle which is available at 24rs for 30 minutes. There is no water in the swimming pool but who needs that. I would still give it a 5 star. There were also couples having their "they" time which they are doing it away from the area where children usually play(lol).It's a quiet big area. So if you have children make sure they stay towards the middle of the park.

My son enjoyed a lot. Spacious!Good environment.swings in trees, where adults also can use. A perfect place for a evening hangoutbwith children. Every ride cost Rs. 20 where parents alwo can accomapny the child in ride..And entry fees is also Rs. 20/per adult. Children under 10 doesn't have entry fees.
Only issue is with equipments maintainance.

It is a nice and calm place in the heart of kollam and very good for childerns. sometimes some cultural and folk programs performed here in the evening organised by kerala tourisam dept. children cycling and few rides are there. cycle for children are available on rent . good track for cycling. need to add more lights in every corner.

I had taken my toddler to this place and she really liked the ambience of this park. As adults, me and my husband, could relax here as it is a really spacious park in the very heart of the city. We visit here more often than other parks in the town. It offers train rides for kids and adults and slides, swings, merry go round etc for different age groups of children.

Good place to time spent with children. Lots of amenities available with paid and free option. You can spend two to three hours easily in the park. Lots of parking places available outside the park. There is a small entry fees to visit the place. Few shops and rest rooms are available here.

Reasonable rates, good rides. Enough area. If you are not looking for world class park as seen in metros and want your kids to have enough space to run around and good rides to spend time on, this is a very good option.
