Very clean and clear beach. The sand is not polluted. People from all walks of life will come and enjoy this spot. Small eateries all along the road and in the middle are reasonable.
The more important…. The waters are good, but it is deep in just meters from edge. The currents are strong. Play safely where the sand appears for a longer stretch into the sea.
Thanks to the Kollam people for using this public place so neatly.

Here you can see all the matches and quarrels of friends and lovers, and many puppies and other children playing with them.We see all the children and families struggling to make ends meet in one evening.

Fantastic beach with lots of parking spaces and a children's play area on the opposite side. A great area to hang out with the family, but always watch your kids if you bring them down to the beach because the waves can get really forceful.

Amazing place, very clean water, very big water waves. If you don't know how to swim then don't go too far in the water. Make sure that closing time is around 6pm, so be on time. Bathrooms are available on paid basis for both males as well as females. Enjoyed it with friends a lot.

Overall Beach looks neat and clean...Nice ambience

Must visit. Best time to go is 5.30PM when you can start seeing the sunset .Unlike other Indian beaches, the shore is slightly sloped which makes it a bit riskier to stand little far into the beach. The beach is clean, beautiful and enjoyable. Serene place

one of the best beaches in kollam. Nice atmosphere and silent. We can walk on the beach and there is lots of icecream shop's. We can buy kite in there. Holidays are too crowded but good. There is areas for parking on the beach road. Opposite to beach there is children's park. Nice ambiance on evening time. There is limited waste bins on the beach. You can get there on one by our vehicle or you can take auto,cheap rate.

I live near the beach, I get there for a walk daily from 5 am to 6:30 am every morning.

4. We have a 5 star hotel in front of Kollam which is called BEACH HOTEL (earlier it was named as Orchid Hotel)
5. We have a Water God statue in front of Kollam beach entrance
6. The park is there for kids and everyone to enjoy different types of riders and trains, water riders and swimming classes for kids etc
