Ka Bri War Resort

The hotel and rooms were very luxurious. They provided us with a few complimentary snacks, drier, and toiletries. The amenities provided to us were above par. The rooms have a great view. The restaurant provided tasty food. Overall, very happy with the stay.

Be it in terms of facilities , hospitality or food this place is just perfect. It is only pure vegetarian property in entire dawki. It is centrally located with easy access to both dawki river , living root bridge and mawlynnong village. They have recently added a children park in there property which was boon for us. Rooms are huge and with amazing view. It's a must must stop over if you are travelling to dawki

I found this gem at a time when I was unable to find out a decent stay somewhere near mawlyngnong.
All rooms have the basic amenities and are clean & spacious with beautiful mountain view rooms and A.C.
They have a separate menu for kids too .
The staff is very polite and helpful.Their services were very prompt. The caretaker is very professional and proactive .However food options for breakfast can be improved .

Overall I had a wonderful stay at Ka Bri War Resort.

Beautiful and spacious rooms..awesome food..pure veg also available..In our 8 days Assam Meghalaya trip we git Poha here in breakfast which was so nice.. Staff was very good. . Overall great experience

Wont find a better place in such s remote area. Spacious rooms with all basic amenities. AC is installed and breathtaking views from the balcony.

May include local cuisine in the menu otherwise service is promt and first class. Best wishes.

Clean, Comfortable & Spacious rooms with breathtaking view from the rooms !

In our 10 days trip to NE, our last stay was in Ka Bri War for a day.. we booked 5 rooms. Kyn Sai in reservation was so helpful in accomodating rooms as per our choice!

Unfortunately our Uncle had a massive attack during the check out. We were 12 of us mostly senior citizens & kids. We all were stuck not knowing what to do. The Manager Mr MICHEAL immediately took his car and took our Uncle to the hospital. In a while, the resort owner's son Mr ANMOL alongwith few of his staffs & friends arrived to the hospital. They all helped us in procuring necessary documents to send our Uncle in Cargo to Chennai. All of them were with us throughout, till we left to Shillong that night.

Had they not been there, we would have struggled a lot being in an unknown terrain! They comforted and helped us like our friends / family members!

An impression comes not just from a place, but also from the people who lives there. Meghalaya for us is Heaven on Earth, because it is filled with people with Good Hearts ❣❣❣

A beautiful resort with breathtaking views and very polite and accommodating staff
The rooms are spacious and well equipped

The place has an in-house restaurant and there is a pure vegetarian restaurant right next to it by the same name. It is the best place to stay in Dawki unless you would rather try one of the homestays

We stayed through NorthEast tour guide. Excellent facility, Ambience and food. Superb hospitality by Ka Bri War team. Every room sit out will have an excellent view of hills. A pleasant to watch in the morning time.

It’s a naturalistic location with a forest valley view. Hospitality by staff is appreciated. Breakfast serves north indian as well as south indian. Bar is not available in the property however wine store is nearby.
If planning to visit dawki and nearby locations, just go ahead with this booking without any thought.

Very well maintained rooms of decent size and good views. Service was very quick for any requests and the food was quite good.

Very nice Veg food. chila bhatura and aloo paratha are fantastic. also liked the pakoda and panner starter. Tea and coffe takes some time yet taste is very good. War is name if the local tribe while ka bri is hill as per the khasi people working her.

I visited this resort in june.
The best resort in close proximity to Dawki, Meghalaya with amazing views of the valley and a couple of waterfalls which comes up during rains.
Its a new construction with good and spacious rooms.
Food is decent
staff is polite and helpful.

Best resort with the best. Categories..which have the best view from the room ..... This resort is on the way to mawlynong and Dawki....

There is no better resort in this area. It's like in middle of forest with so much clean and luxurious rooms. Pay the extra money they asking, worth it if you intent to sleep in this part of town.

Hotel is newly constructed, all luxurious fittings. AC is new and strong. Rooms are large and bathrooms are very large.

Also they have a public restaurant downstairs, which serve in rooms. Very tasty food. Decently priced for a hotel likely this.

Ample parking space for like 20-30 cars.

Only let down was the morning breakfast.

We tried veg restaurant at his resort and all items are very delicious. Best place to dine in, on the way to Dawki lake.

I hapnd to stop at ka bri war for food. Veg n non veg is separately available. 5 star class food. Fanstastic waste. A perfect stopver for food especially for lunch. Thx ka bri war!!

The rooms were clean and spacious! We were on the 2nd floor, the view from the balcony was beautiful ⛰ They don't have wifi, which I didn't mind much. They had two restaurants, a separate one for vegetarian food. Food was consistently good and service was quick! I'd recommend staying and eating here.

One aspect to consider is they didn't have local food, they have plenty of options for north Indian/indo Chinese food.

We just visited the pure veg restaurant and the food was AMAZING! Great variety of vegetarian food as well
