At its best no word deserves that value which can describe the overall facilities the college provides. Some things such as the quality of teaching, collection of books in library, behaviour of the staffs and amicability of the faculties are really double satisfactory. During my session I was in the midst of sea like problems, finding no way out in such a situation the college staffs and faculties stood by me...their merciful hands helped me a lot continue and finally complete the course.

Bankura Christian Collegiate School is situated in Bankura town, West Bengal, India. It is one of the oldest schools of the district. It is also known as Mission Boys School. It was established in 1889. The boys-only school has more than 1800 students. The school is affiliated by WBBSE. The boys from 5th to 12th standard are taught here. The school has a boys' hostel in its campus. It has a football ground.

Bankura Christian College as a premier higher education institution is now a brand name in academia. The college has established itself as a centre of education par excellence, imparting quality education for more than a century and contributing significantly to the nation by nurturing young talents, giving them a proper shape, and enabling themselves to work for the society for the truth and knowledge and ultimately for quality human life. The college can truly boast of strong alumni in academic, administrative, financial, as well as corporate sectors. It still works to inculcate human values by the means of extracurricular activities in addition to the curricular aspects with a bid to changing the future of the nation.

Under the stewardship of Rev. John Mitchell, the Founder Principal, and with the initiatives of the Wesleyan Methodists, the college started its journey on the 29th of June in 1903 as the only institution for higher education in this economically backward region. In 1907 the college was granted approval by Calcutta University to teach Intermediate Arts (I. A.) and Bachelor of Arts (B. A.). In 1911-12 Intermediate Science (I. Sc.) was introduced. In 1921-22 Honours curricula in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics were introduced. In 1961 it was affiliated to the University of Burdwan. Presently the college is affiliated to Bankura University (Since 2017).

This college has Very good infrastructure & equipments. Every rooms are full with light fans also. Our Laboratories are well equiped .Library is too good. our college also provide hostels but they are all not used but well maintained . Food is healthy

I spent 13 years of my education life here;from nursery to class 10. Now, whenever I look back upon those days, I can't help but feel nostalgia. I wish if I could have been stayed there forever but the reality is always harsh. Nonetheless, the education system and teaching techniques are really remarkable especially the discipline that is taught here is incomparable. Moreover, as it is clustered by many trees so we never had to face the air pollution of the city and this is the best advantage that I felt during my course. Recieving my first education in such a place really worth it.

Excellent school at Bankura. Campus, classroom, play ground, prayer hall and view from open window from class room will definitely feel you so osm. Annual sports is one of the best and memorable event.

Bankura Christian College was established by the Wesleyan Missionary Society in 1903 to prepare students for the F. A. Examination only. On July 16th, 1906, by the Honourable Mr. Lancelot Hare, Officiating Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal, laid the foundation stone of the college building on a land of 115 bighas near the center of the town.[2] It was the first college to be established in Bankura district.

The application from the Wesleyan Mission College, Bankura, for affiliation to the Calcutta University was granted in April 1907. The affiliation was for the standard of the Intermediate Examination in Arts in the subjects of English, Sanskrit, History, Logic and Mathematics and up to the B. A. Standard in the subjects of English, Sanskrit, History, Political Economy and Political Philosophy and Mental and Moral Philosophy, and also up to the standard of the F. A. Examination in 1908 in the subjects of English, Sanskrit, History, Logic, Mathematics and Physics and Chemistry.[2]

In 1961, the affiliation was changed to Burdwan University and since 2017, the college is affiliated to Bankura University. [3]
